This is what sleep looks like after three days of no sleep. I think this breaks any record I've ever had for my sleep before, and definitely the best sleep during this pregnancy! I'm so grateful to sleep deeply and soundly. I'm grateful to only wake twice to go to the bathroom. I'm grateful to wake rested! I'm grateful for the cool air in the house, from having the windows open, that allowed me to snuggle under the covers and basically pass out. I'm grateful for the bits of dreams I remember but I'm equally grateful to not have been so consciously in tune with them to get woken as they shifted. I'm so, so grateful. I'm grateful for this core need being met. I'm grateful for lavender oil and meditation that helps me wind down at an earlier time. And I'm grateful to feel like myself again! How have you been sleeping? Are there any simple changes you could make to your evening routine to help improve sleep? Or do you have any tips on what works well for you that you would like to share? May today bless us with waking rested and lasting energy. Have a beautiful day! |
