I am not here this morning to tell you who to or not to vote for. I am here to ask you to vote. I am here to ask you to look in your heart and vote for the America you want to see created. I am here to ask you to acknowledge your voice, your power, and your worth by casting your vote.
I'm here this morning to ask you to please set aside any fears or scare tactics and genuinely look at the candidates. I'm here to ask you to do your own research not just the clips of truth the media wants you to see. And I'm asking you to look in your heart and vote for whomever you feel is right for you.
Today I am grateful to make the effort to blog despite being under the weather because of this important day. I'm grateful that I voted early and now do not have to share my germs by going today. I'm grateful for a system that gives us a voice in which direction we want this country to grow. I'm grateful for everyone who votes today. (Yes, no matter who they vote for.) But I'm especially grateful for those who vote for love. I'm grateful for those who vote for humanity. And I'm grateful for those who vote from the heart. I'm grateful despite all the triggers of this election to be able to settle into the stillness and listen to my heart.
Have you made your decision? Have you cast your vote? Have you allowed the country to hear your voice?
May today let every voice ring out. May we have record voting turn out and may those voters speak from the heart.
