"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference."- Robert Frost's words ring in my head this morning as I am on the cusp of making more changes in my life. There was once a time when I dreaded change and making big moves because I didn't know how things would turn out. But over the years and lessons learned I have found that change can be the best choices we make no matter what the outcome. When we choose to make a change or follow a path that presents itself in front of us we are moving forward and showing the Universe what we want in life. By saying yes we are accepting all the possibilities that may come with that new path. For a couple weeks I have allowed a sort of hibernation for myself as I sorted through the many options that are presenting themselves. Now I am ready to emerge again and walk the paths I have chosen. I'm grateful to feel a renewed commitment to my physical, mental, and emotional health. I'm grateful to accept a new part-time job and know that I will be finding a new balance with the work I do. I'm grateful to open my heart and mind to the possibilities that will emerge on this path. And honestly, I'm grateful to not know where it will ultimately lead me. Many times the most amazing surprises come when I choose to let go of the outcome. In this moment I am at peace. In this moment I am happy with my decisions. And in this moment I am filled with gratitude to reclaim my paddle after my early winter's nap and begin to paddle on this new course. It has been an interesting ride so far and I have no reason to think the next stretch will be anything but amazing! What path are you on today? Are you on the path of least resistance, following the course you have been walking for a while? Or are you carving a new path for yourself based on new ideas or new dreams? Neither is better or worse that the other, it is simply the path you are on. And sometimes one path can be both of these options; following your dreams through the course of least resistance. No matter which path you are on, all that matters is that you are enjoying the journey and finding gratitude for all the blessings and opportunities around you. Thank you for being a part of my journey today. May you see the blessings on your path and choose the opportunities that take you to your highest dreams. Have a beautiful day! Namasté.
