This morning I got out my Old Fashioned Oatmeal and made it as it was intended. It has real apples cut up and warmed, oats cooked and then mixed with milk for creaminess, and just a touch of cinnamon. It's like a less sugary apple cobbler breakfast treat!
I'm grateful to have time this morning to prepare breakfast. I'm grateful to still be able to buy old fashioned oatmeal even though they have made more "convenient" ways. I'm grateful for fresh apples! I'm grateful for the taste of cinnamon and the health benefits it provides. I'm grateful for a nutritious breakfast. And I'm grateful for the fun effects I have to edit photos to make them look aged.
