Last night I took the opportunity to enjoy the evening at the park. Walking through the trees and soaking up nature was just what I needed. The sunshine and breeze restored me.
It is amazing how the simple things can be the most rewarding. An hour at the park helped me reconnect and reset. And it was the perfect day to do that with my daughter as the rain and cooler temperatures moved in overnight.
I'm so grateful for nature. I'm grateful for the beauty of trees and the way the sunshine glimmers through the leaves. I'm grateful for this time of year as some of the leaves have turned brilliant reds and oranges while others are still green. I'm grateful for the sycamores and all they represent to me. And I'm grateful to take this time outside to renew my soul and my connection.
What renews your soul? What helps you reset and reconnect to the beauty around you? What can you do today to feel this connection?
May nature bless us with her beauty. May we find the time to do the things that renews our soul. And may that care be reflected in the interactions we make today. Have a beautiful day!
