We have several home projects we would love to do. There's a kitchen island, fixing the fish pond and waterfall, building in shelves on the sides of the fireplace, the list is long. There is no timeline specifically, just a dream drawn up of what we would love to see done.
This weekend I wrote up a new project. I called it the Money Project, though perhaps Abundance Project would have been more fitting. I wrote down a list of things that we would love to do from the home projects to vacations, to special gifts for birthdays or Christmas. I wrote the projected cost of each and then I drew a line dividing the page. I then wrote a second project called the Income Project and the things we love to do that can make money. I sat with it for a time and then I wrote how much income each would bring in by a certain time.
In a way it is like a vision board, geared more toward the analytical mind of my husband and that aspect of my own mind. While pictures speak more to me, seeing the numbers was deeply comforting. Ask and you shall receive, right?
Now I have a goal to work toward, divided into the things I love to do. It will give me a direction to work toward and a map on which areas to focus more. It is a project in accepting abundance, giving service, and moving toward other rewards.
I'm grateful to have created this new project. I'm grateful to see how grounded I felt seeing in specifically written out and broken down by element. I'm grateful for the conversation it started between my husband and I about money and where we could save and where we could earn. I'm grateful for the plethora of opportunities in front of us and I'm grateful for fun words like plethora.
I'm grateful for a productive extended weekend. I'm grateful to see all the holiday decorations up and feel inspired not burdened by their presence. I'm grateful Austin seems to be feeling much better and is done with all her medicine from the surgery. I'm grateful for the ice rink on the deck today and more grateful that I was able to stay on my feet taking the dogs out.
What project and goals do you have? Have you written them down or spent time visualizing them? What steps can you take today to bring these dreams to fruition? What gratitude can you find along the way?
May today bless you with abundance. May you find clarity in your goals and a supportive path to achieve them. Have a beautiful day!
