I have stumbled into 2018, with my family, all fighting off a flu or head cold. It is not exactly the launch we had hoped for but it has reminded me of some very important things to be grateful for; like teamwork.
Every year I set goals and do my best to see them through. I make a vision board and imagine the outcomes I want to see as I move toward those goals. But I am not an island. I am part of a family that all has their own goals and dreams and we achieve those better with each other's support.
I'm grateful for my family. I'm grateful for a daughter that is still mostly cheerful despite not feeling her best. I'm grateful my husband has been off work so we can take turns resting and taking care of each other and our daughter. I'm grateful for delicious homemade chicken noodle soup and to have had the ingredients without even heading to the store. I'm grateful to put aside any disappointments about not feeling my best at the start of a new year and instead focus on the beautiful blessings all around me.
I'm grateful for a warm house and comfy beds. I'm grateful for the extra sleep we have all been getting. I'm grateful for having this time off work already. I'm grateful for all the little things I sometimes take for granted that make regaining health so much easier.
What are you grateful for as we kick off a new year? What goals do you have and what supports do you have in your life to help you achieve those goals?
May 2018 bring blessings and bliss. May we find gratitude at every turn. Have a beautiful day!
