I'm grateful for a wonderful boyfriend that was willing to scrap our plans last night in exchange for a relaxed night in front of the campfire. I'm grateful to take the opportunity to reboot and reground in nature. I'm grateful to spend time playing bubbles and chuck-it with the dogs and to share laughter with my family. I'm grateful for the family quote book that seems to fill up quickly every weekend. I'm grateful that we are able to laugh at ourselves and each other as we do "nothing" together. I'm grateful for a good deep sleep last night filled with simple dreams. I'm grateful for my sweet dogs that let me sleep in so I could catch up on rest. I'm grateful to start the day with a calm, happy, grateful mind and to let my worries fall away with the night. I'm grateful for this world as a reflection that shows me when I need to step back and rest. And I'm grateful to be learning how to speak up when that is needed. What reflection is life showing you? Is there an area of your life that feels out of balance? How can you ask for what you need to return to your own healthy balance? It can be hard sometimes to break out of the cycle of urgency we often place on ourselves and pick up from society. And I know, for me, it can be hard to speak up about my own needs when I am used to looking out for everyone else's but it is important to remember to take care of myself. I'm grateful to be learning this and to have wonderful people around me that help remind me when I forget. May today fill your heart with a restful peace and still the waters of your mind. Have a beautiful day!
