When I think of the pyramids and the huge stones being moved up to complete them, I think of faith in oneself, determination, and achievement. Someday I hope to stand before the pyramids in person, in awe over their magnificence. And yet, even without them in front of me I find the symbolism in my everyday life. I see the symbol each morning as the sun comes through my front window.
Today as I look at the hectic schedule I am comforted by the symbol of the pyramid. Juggling my to do list is minor compared to moving those big stones. This is the perspective I need to take one hour at a time. And with this perspective I am freed of unnecessary pressure.
I'm grateful to take it one "block" at a time. I'm grateful to have faith that I can build today as I choose and get everything done that needs to get done. I'm grateful for this symbol that appears in my home each morning. I'm grateful for all the symbolism I have read about it and the symbolism that speaks to me. I'm grateful for this pyramid. I'm grateful for the dream of seeing the pyramids some day. And I'm grateful for a great start to a great day.
What symbols appear in your morning routine? How do they support you? What messages do they carry?
May today be full of connection and awareness. May we see the symbols that support us and find comfort in their meaning. Have a beautiful day!
