One of those places is my frustration. I have allowed frustration and even victim mentality to creep back into my internal dialog. I have allowed anger to build unnecessarily. It is time to give all of that a flush.
There are a dozen justifications I could give, from lack of sleep or hormones to not receiving what I ask for, but in the end it is my mindset that determines how I act and who I want to be. I have the power to choose to re-write my thoughts and re-direct my focus.
I'm grateful for a stove to boil water. I'm grateful for a netti pot to help flush out my sinuses. I'm grateful for the reminder that I am in charge of how I act and how I respond. I'm grateful to give myself credit and honor the power I have for choosing how I act and the person I am. I'm grateful for a quiet moment to type this blog so that I can reflect without judgement on where I can make changes.
Is there anything you are wanting to purge from your life? Where can you give yourself more credit for the power you hold?
May today support our efforts to grow. Have a beautiful day!
