I'm grateful for plans. And I'm grateful for the Yiddish proverb "Man plans, God laughs." It is easy to get caught up in what I want to do and sometimes it is frustrating to roll with the punches when those plans don't work out but it has always worked out for the best. I'm grateful to once again be having the lesson of rolling with it and I'm grateful to have a family and boyfriend to remind me that it will be equally good, if not better, however it ends up. I'm grateful for the thunderstorm last night. I'm grateful for the rain it brought for the flowers, veggie garden, and grass seed. I'm grateful that my dog, Austin, was so brave last night during the storm with her thundershirt. I'm grateful that my other dog, Pippin was able to roll with the punches and let me sleep in just a little to catch up on sleep. I'm grateful for all the new possibilities that are open for today because of the original plans not working out. What will today hold? What possibilities are open for you? How do you roll with it when plans get changed that you were really excited about? I'm grateful to know that God has bigger plans. I'm grateful to get to spend today with my boyfriend and dogs. I'm grateful and excited to see what comes. Have a beautiful day!
I believe the way to a better future starts with gratitude today.
