I'm sitting at the dining room table with beautiful pinks and oranges painting the sky through the bay window. It is a breathtaking. It is it's own masterpiece. And with that, perhaps is a lesson, a mirror.
Last night I had the privilege of meeting several new people at my monthly Project JOY group. Each one comes from a different struggle and are taking the steps to uplift their life and take care of themselves. It is all of our story in one way or another.
In listening to them each share a little of their story and what their goals were going to be this month, I saw only beauty. Each person sitting around me was in their beautiful perfection even as they actively shift into new perfections.
The colors of the sky are fading now to pastels. The clouds are turning a golden yellow and the sky shifts to blue. A flock of birds flies past, blocking part of my view and yet even those obstacles add to the beauty of the picture.
Like the sky, we are our own masterpiece. We are ever shifting, changing "color" and image. There are obstacles and yet at the core our beauty is still there. This is my gratitude. This is what colors my heart.
I'm grateful for the people I met last night. I'm grateful for their bravery in coming out to join this group and meet new people. I'm grateful for the support I can give and the support I receive as being a part of this group. I'm grateful for the beautiful sunrise this morning. I'm grateful to pause to watch it and gain inspiration and insight. I'm grateful to see it's beauty even as the clouds are now white and the sky pale blue. I'm grateful for this day before me and all the possibilities it holds. And I'm grateful to share it with you.
What gives you inspiration? What beauty do you see from nature mirrored in your own image? How can you choose to see your divine perfection in each moment of the day even if you are shifting to another form of it?
May today paint your world in a breathtaking way. May your heart be colored by the beauty around you. And may you find peace in this moment. Have a beautiful day!
