I'm grateful to wake to the sound of rain this morning. I'm grateful for nature's way of not only nourishing it's thirsty plant life but also washing away what isn't needed. I'm grateful for the rain refilling the creeks and lakes. I'm grateful for water to drink. I'm grateful to stand under my own shower and let all my worries be washed away. I imagine the water flowing through me and washing any pains or energy blocks down my body and out through my feet. Now as I hear the hail outside I am reminded that in this cleansing and releasing we must remain compassionate and gentle with ourselves. If we beat ourselves up about what does not easily release it will only cause more pain. If, as you let your worries wash away, one stays with you then perhaps it is not yet time for that one to go. Perhaps there is more to be learned from that lesson before it is released. Everything will be released in it's own perfect time if you keep allowing the opportunity for it to pass. I'm grateful for the rain. I'm grateful for the reminder of gentleness from the hail. I'm grateful that during this time my car is safely in the garage.
