Sometimes in the day to day grind of marketing and planning I forget how much I love what I do. Especially in the last few months with baby stuff on my mind and wanting to have some plan as to how this will all balance out. And yet at the same time knowing that it will be a learning curve with adjustments and readjustments before that balance is achieved.
It was such a blessing last night to remind myself why I love what I do. It sparked my own gratitude for how I got here. It reminded me that this is not "just a job" for me; not just something to punch the time clock. Yes, there have been ups and downs and a large learning curve but this work is in my heart. This work is a testament to living my passion.
I'm so grateful for the opportunity to talk about what I do as a coach. I'm so grateful for the workshops that have been a hit. I'm so grateful for the resilience I've found as I continue to work at this dream. I'm grateful for the company that first brought me into a corporate setting to teach my P.O.W.E.R. Program and expanded even my own beliefs on the role it can play in peoples' lives. I'm grateful to reignite this passion and reflect on the successes I have witnessed. I'm grateful for all those who took a chance and changed their lives. And I'm grateful to see how this passion and the passion of being a mom will blend in the future as I live the life I dreamed.
What do you do that you are passionate about? What in your life is "more than a job", whether you get paid for it or not?
May today bless us all with remembering our passions. May we remember what brought us to this place and give us the strength to pursue our dreams. Have a beautiful day!
