It does not always work out how I would have chosen it at the time. I do not always get my way in how the story is written. But I do know that even the darkest moments have brought me to the brightest afterglows. There is reassurance in that as I step out on a new chapter, a new day, a new week.
I'm loving the mirror of my world today. I'm grateful for the condensation on the glass, blocking my clear view. I'm grateful for how it reflects my mind as I balance wanting to know what is to come with being here in this moment. I'm grateful to be able to embrace the uncomfortable of the unknown without getting caught in the emotions of it.
I'm grateful for Momma's words of wisdom, always present with me. I'm grateful to know she is a mere phone call away. And I'm grateful to know that each of these experiences is creating my unique wisdom that I will someday pass on to my child.
I do not know all the answers today and I do not have a well planned message to share. Today I am simply me and I'm grateful.
What sayings and wisdom have been passed down to you? Do they hold true in your own life?
May today bless you with the wisdom of previous generations. May you find gratitude in the beauty around you. Have a beautiful day!
