I'm grateful to wake slowly this morning. I'm grateful to listen to my body and take the necessary steps to help me start my day right. Sometimes I find that waking earlier so that I have more time to do meditation, yoga, or an extra long shower starts the day better than sleeping in. Today was one such day. After sleeping wonderfully with my window open, the cool breeze, and sounds of nature; I woke to my allergies rearing. A few simple techniques learned in massage school combined with a resting meditation and a hot steaming shower with eucalyptus oil has me back to my energized self! I'm grateful to listen to what my body needs. I'm grateful for these techniques I have learned to care for myself. I'm grateful to give myself love and self-care so that I can go about my day helping others. How do you take care of yourself so that you can pass that love along to others?
