I'm finding gratitude in the duality this morning. I'm grateful for the light of day and laughter of family. Yet I'm also grateful for the dark of night and the quiet of solitude. It is the balance of both that brings me peace and inspires joy. I'm grateful for the sunshine that gives light and warmth to grow. And I'm grateful for the storms that bring rain to nourish the dry ground. In all things I see this duality and need for balance. I'm grateful to be open to my feelings, allowing both tears and laughter. I'm grateful to recognize and honor my needs. There are days for work and days for play. Though today is called Labor Day, many of us will use it as a day of rest from our normal labor tasks. I'm grateful to all those who work today to allow the convinience of traveling home. What dualities are you grateful for in your life? What best represents your darkness and light? How will you honor that today? May your day be blessed with balance. May you find joy within this duality. Have a beautiful Labor Day.
