We are expecting a new little miracle to join our family in September. Technically the little cashew, or our little leprechaun today, has already joined us and has made some changes as only a child can.
I am in my second trimester now so most of the nausea and things that come with the first trimester are passing. And baby and I are both doing very well. Mark and I are both so excited to meet our first child.
While a lot of my gratitude lately has secretly revolved around this news we had agreed not to share it online until the second trimester, aside from some family members. And with the rain of support yesterday I wanted to lay any worries my readers may carry to rest. I'm so excited to share this gratitude with you today.
I'm grateful to be blessed with carrying my first child. I'm grateful to watch and feel the baby growing and moving around. I'm grateful to be able to eat again and be nourishing us both the best I can. I'm grateful for all the surprise and joy this news has brought to us and our families. I'm grateful to have witnessed the baby rub its eyes, stretch, and my personal favorite, trying to moon the technician when she would not stop poking. I'm grateful to have felt the baby roll when I laid down the other night and, despite its small size still, I'm grateful to know it is growing every day. I'm so grateful for this miracle and I'm so grateful to have an amazing husband that will make a great dad.
What is happening in your life? Is there any news you would like to share and celebrate?
May today bless you with the luck of the Irish. May you enjoy some St. Patrick's Day festivities. And my your heart be filled with love at the miracles in your own life. Have beautiful day!
