Yesterday was amazing and even with some set backs, like forgetting to bring my gratitude bowl, the day was still pretty perfect. The warmth and sunshine allowed us to play outside in the leaves with the kids. I got to preview some professional photos of my daughter. And best of all I got to connect and laugh with family.
Today I will do my best to carry on this vibration of gratitude. Yesterday I admit to having a few frustrating and crabby moments and while I accept this is part of the process I hope I can use the insights I gained from it to let that go today.
I'm grateful for lots of leftovers, including desserts. I'm grateful for all the hard work my mom puts in to make Thanksgiving a feast and give us all a great place to come together. I'm grateful to recognize my moods and recognize the underlying causes so that I can shift back to gratitude. I'm grateful to voice wishes and have them heard. I'm grateful to laugh and have plenty of opportunity to play. I'm grateful that, even as I hear the wind whipping outside bringing colder weather again, there are opportunities to connect with nature. I'm grateful for a beautiful day behind and another one ahead.
What vibration are you carrying with you today? Is it one of joy, uplifting and supporting? If not, what could you do to shift it to something positive?
May today allow the celebration to continue, if only in our hearts. May the joys of Thanksgiving carry us through the end of the year. Have a beautiful day!
