Sometimes it can be hard when we are struggling to see which action is the action of love. Sometimes we choose other actions instead that are self-serving. But love is the only one that heals, that unites, that comforts. Love is worth the labor. Love is worth taking that moment to step back and re-evaluate what is best. And I truly believe that love can win.
I hear about all the chaos and crime going on in this world. I see the violence that hits our towns and countries. And I believe it can be healed when we offer people love. We all want respect. We all want to be heard and validated. And we all want and need to feel loved. So this Labor Day, let us focus on a labor that can heal the world; love.
I'm grateful for love. I'm grateful for all the gifts love has given me and for all the ways I can give love back to those around me. I'm grateful to know that I am respected and to respect myself. I'm grateful to be heard and to honor my voice. And I'm grateful for the optimism in my heart that says we can heal from tragic events and we can unite as one people with love. I'm grateful to believe that my daughter will grow up in a world of change that is shifting toward love and unity. And I'm grateful to take steps each day to do my part to assist that change.
How can you assist positive change in this world? Who can you show love and compassion to today?
May today bless us with ideas to assist positive changes. May we feel loved and heard and may we share that with those we meet today. Have a beautiful day!
