I awoke to sadness and disappointment this morning. I feel it is important to be honest and show that I too have frustrations and internal conflict sometimes. I had created this day in my head with expectations that were dependant on external factors outside of my control. And so this insight is where I will begin my gratitude this morning. I'm grateful that within disappointment there is the reminder that joy startswithin me. I'm grateful to be learning more and more about myself each day. I'm grateful for the pride and love I feel for myself when I remember how far I have come in taking the reins in my life. I'm grateful for the powerI not only feel in my energy but that I am learning how to use that energy to boost others. I'm grateful for a fun night of staying up to the wee hours playing games. I'm grateful for this beautifully strong snowstorm that is covering my community. I'm grateful that my family and I are home, enjoying the weather in warmth. I'm grateful that in the change of plans that occurred today I have another opportunity to invest in myself and create my future. I'm grateful to have found the positive light and have taken steps to make this the amazing day it always had the potential to be. I'm grateful for living in gratitude! And I'm grateful for all of you that took the time to read this long post today so you can have an example of how gratitude can change your perspective! I hope that it reaches and makes a difference for someone. Namasté
I believe the way to a better future starts with gratitude today.
