The funny thing is I keep finding myself humming and singing, " Singing in the Rain" and then being extra grateful that it is not raining outside today. And in the back of my mind I just keep thinking, the baby now has ears and can hear things like my voice.
I don't know if it is true or not but I read a study several years ago that said if you sing to your children frequently, even if out of tune, it will help them to train their ears to be able to harmonize and sing in tune better. Has anyone else heard this? I personally love this study because it gives me an extra excuse to sing and not feel embarrassed if I'm out of tune. Haha!
Today I am grateful for it being a Conscious Cup morning and I'm grateful for the larger group I have signed up today for our monthly chat. I'm grateful for music, especially happy music. I'm grateful to be in the mood to hum around the house. I'm grateful for the breakfast casserole cooking in the oven and for the delicious aroma it is sending out. I'm grateful to hear the birds singing along with me and I'm grateful the baby growing in my belly can enjoy this musical morning as well.
What are you grateful for today? What songs uplift your morning? How can you kick off your Monday on a high note?
May today bless you with music to support you and people to dance with you. Have a beautiful day!
