Good morning! This morning I'm so grateful to be heading west. I'm grateful to get to see one of my best friends and her family, especially her most adorable son. I'm grateful to have her a few hours closer and to get to have a few days to spend with her. I'm grateful for the connection we share now and have shared for so long. I'm grateful for the shifts our relationship has taken that make us stronger in new ways as we allow the other person to change and grow and accept them as they are. I'm grateful to know that soulmates are not limited to the romantic partnership category that it is often squeezed into but rather is a term that can envelope any gender, any relationship, and any strong bond. I'm grateful to know this deep friendship and all the love and support it has provided me over the years. I honestly believe I would not be here if it wasn't for her. So I'm westward bound, eager for another road trip. Who are your soulmates? And I do mean plural because I do believe we are gifted with a soul family to help us through our lessons on Earth. Have you told your soul mates just how important they are to you? What struggles have they helped you through? I'm so grateful to have a variety of soulmates to help me navigate. I'm grateful for this girlfriend in particular because she not only has helped me up when I was at my lowest but forgave me even when I was not yet ready to forgive myself. I'm grateful for her son, a perfect miracle, that has brought joy to both our faces (as well as many others'). I'm grateful to make the time for a visit. Westward Ho (as the old history books said)! May your day be blessed with recognizing your soulmates and the blessings of all the important people in your life. May you know the strength of love in all its forms.
I believe the way to a better future starts with gratitude today.
