How often do we go about trying to make a spiritual shift and re-discovering things we had long buried? Fears of abandonment, feelings of unworthiness, or even just a judgement hiding below the surface are all common examples.
Perhaps today should not be celebrated as a day of discovery but rather a day of courage to try. Perhaps we can celebrate today as a day of re-discovering ourselves and trying to expand our mind and our personal world. We can choose to find the empowerment in this day of celebration.
What will you re-discover today? What will you embrace courage to face? What is waiting for you just below the surface of this beautiful opportunity?
I'm so grateful to have witnessed this debate. I'm grateful to choose the symbolism that creates my supportive and best reality. I'm grateful to see that Columbus was human and had a variety of qualities, whether judged "good" or "bad" that made a lasting impact on this world. I'm grateful to see the reflection as I try my best to make a positive impact on the world. And I'm grateful to celebrate this day of re-discovery. I'm grateful to tune in and do some self-exploration.
May today open your view to another perspective. May you find love, respect, and forgiveness in your journey. Have a beautiful day!
