This day comes at the perfect time for me as stress has been mounting and worries seem to be crowded at my door. What better time than today to step back, pay attention to each moment, and be mindful of those beautiful, positive things that are present in my life. First and foremost of course, is my family. But I commit to being aware today of all the beautiful little blessings that occur along my path today.
I'm so grateful for the support of family. I'm grateful for an amazing, supportive husband that is here for me when times are stressful. I'm grateful for the little acrobat growing in my belly. I'm grateful for extra snuggly dogs as they too recognize something is going on today. I'm grateful for hospital staff that can care for my loved ones when the need exceeds what family is trained to do. I'm grateful for each new day.
I'm grateful for the cooler temperatures and the slight breeze. I'm grateful for the sound of thunder rumbling in the distance and hope that it provides my plants with a fresh drink today. I'm grateful for neighbors that are kind and caring. I'm grateful for a wonderful home and trustworthy transportation. And I'm grateful for all the little ways that I will see happiness showing up in my life today.
