The first word that sticks out to me, because it practically spelled itself out, is TOES. Instantly my mind goes to the sweet baby toes that are growing on my unborn child. So that is where I will begin my gratitude today!
I'm grateful for cute baby toes. I'm grateful for the baby growing inside me each day and I'm grateful to know I am nearly half way to meeting this sweet baby and kissing his or her little toes.
I'm grateful for my own toes that give me balance and stability. I'm grateful to use them as I stand on tippy toe to reach the things that are out of reach, and at my height that is fairly often. I'm grateful for vegan toenail polish that makes it safer to paint my toenails without getting so many harmful chemicals on my body. Go toes!
The next word that hops out to me is TRIES. And isn't that the whole life journey pretty much? There is so much to be grateful for in that word.
I'm grateful for everyone who tries to do their part to make this world a more loving place. I'm grateful for all the "tries," or opportunities, the universe has given me to learn the beautiful lessons of my life. I'm grateful for family and friends and all their tries to pursue their dreams. And I'm grateful to celebrate their successes with them.
While there are probably many more words within these seven letters; I will choose just one more. I see the word STORE.
I'm grateful for the convenience of a store down the street to get the supplies I need for cooking and creating workshops. I'm grateful that my parents chose to store a few of my favorite childhood toys and that now my child will get a small glimpse into my world as a child. I'm grateful for a large heart to store all this beautiful love and beauty that I find every day. And I'm grateful to share it with you.
Did you know such beauty and meaning could be found in a simple letter game? When was the last time you sat down and played a game with family or friends?
May today inspire your creativity. May you find gratitude in the simple things that are "spelling" themselves out in front of you. Have a beautiful day!
