I'm grateful to be here this morning, on this stormy, Earthly day. I'm grateful for the experiences I have had that brought me right here, to this spot at the kitchen table, in a beautiful house and in a loving relationship. There have been times over the years that I thought perhaps this kind of love and long-term relationship was something of a time past. I spent time just getting to know and love myself and when I was ready I put it out to the universe again. And I was rewarded with a love that is kind, generous, playful, and accepting. I am truly grateful to have found this beautiful love with such a wonderful man. I'm grateful for the times in my past when it hurt to give up something else so that I could get to this moment. I'm grateful to have found myself and my own love before I found this relationship because it makes me stronger and more open; more loving. While I truly believe there is no obstacle too big for love to shine through; we still have to be open to allowing it to shine on us. The only obstacle is ourselves and I'm so grateful to have opened my heart to love. I'm grateful that in jumping back in and getting my feet wet I discovered more than I would have previously thought to ask for. And I'm grateful for that reminder today as I see the puddles forming, calling for me to jump in. I have never failed when jumping in. Though some of the lessons were not as I had expected; it was still success for the mere ability to jump. How can you jump in and get your feet wet? What is something you have been wanting but have been standing at the side barely dipping your toe? Today, jump in! Find that puddle that you have been looking for and make a splash. It might just turn out to be everything you ever wanted. Have a beautiful day, everyone!
I believe the way to a better future starts with gratitude today.
