I'm grateful to wake in a silly, playful mood. I'm grateful to talk in silly voices to my dogs and get them all riled up. I'm grateful to have set my intentions and made my desires clear last night under the Full Moon and I'm grateful to wake today to the playfulness of Friday the 13th. As I looked up at the moon last night I could feel the energy and love building inside me. To come paired with Friday the 13th is just an added bonus as I always enjoy playing on this "mystical" day. Friday the 13th is when our werewolf side shows; the animalistic side that we hide from the world most of the time. It is when we run through the streets baring our shadow side and howling up at the moon, releasing any judgements or pains we held inside. Under the light of a still nearly full moon the energy is extremely supportive of this release. So let's all cast off the judgements we hold on ourselves and each other today. Let's not fear but rather embrace the love of knowing that we are all imperfectly perfect as we throw our heads back and howl at the moon! I'm grateful to let my voice be heard. I'm grateful to howl out what is no longer serving me. I'm grateful for the beauty I see in the Full Moon and the Earth. I'm grateful to have a playful spirit and to allow that side to shine. How will you celebrate today? What judgements do you hold for how you "should" act or who you "should" be? And how can you cast those off in a loving and playful way? Celebrate you tonight! Celebrate with the people who accept you as you are and most importantly celebrate love! May the moon light even the deepest shadows of your fears and fill them with love.
I believe the way to a better future starts with gratitude today.
