On days like this, where there is an alarm set nearly every hour or two from 5:30 am till 3 pm, it can be easy to get overwhelmed. Trying to remember what I will need for each meeting and each service at the beginning of the day and knowing there is not time to come back for anything forgotten could cause stress. Last night, I was stressed. But allowing myself to feel overwhelmed and stressed doesn't help or change the situation. In fact it only compounds it by creating a mental block that makes me move less efficiently. So instead, today, I focus on each task as it is directly in front of me. I will go through the mental checklist one by one and I will face each task throughout the day in the same way. In keeping with this mindset, keeping it simple, I will address my gratitude in the same way. I'm grateful to see massage clients this morning. I'm grateful to be able to fit them in on a day I am not usually available for massage. I'm grateful to be a part of helping them feel better. And I'm grateful for the income massage provides. Next stop, being a youth mentor at the school district I grew up in. I'm grateful to give back to the community that provided me with so much. I'm grateful to work with some great kids and help make their day a little brighter. I'm grateful to have had a fairly worry free childhood. I'm grateful for opportunities like this that allow me to serve and I hope that someday it will allow me to bring my self-esteem coaching into the schools and help even more kids. I'm grateful to meet a new nanny family today. I'm grateful for the opportunity to assist in caring for someone's child. I'm grateful for the trust of people on helping be a part of their child's upbringing. I'm grateful to be open to this possibility. As I return home this afternoon around 4, there will still be my own business stuff to do. I'm grateful to offer the community another Full Moon Meditation recording tonight as we prepare for tomorrow's Full Moon. I'm grateful for the lunar eclipse that will happen in the wee hours of Wednesday morning. I'm grateful to be nearly complete with some workbooks for my programs so that those who cannot afford the full coaching experience will be able to use some of the tips and techniques I use to uplift their own lives. I'm grateful to love my jobs and love being of service. How can you "break it down" and focus on each task today? How can you find gratitude in each? May your day be blessed with giving and receiving. May you find gratitude and love in each moment. Have a beautiful day!
I believe the way to a better future starts with gratitude today.
