My husband's adventurous eating has given me the courage to try new foods (off his plate while remaining safe with my choice) and helped me branch out in what foods I will add to my favorites. Today I love several Indian and Mediterranean dishes. I will eat some sushi rolls if it is cooked. And I add more spice and flavor even to classic recipes.
This addition of flavor has opened me up in more ways than just my palate. It gives me confidence to try new things in other areas too. Areas that I thought I was already adventurous in, I now find more confidence to go farther. Scuba diving, for example, has opened up a whole new world.
I'm grateful for the confidence my husband has shown with food. I'm grateful to have built more confidence through trusting and watching him. I'm grateful for the new foods I now love! I'm grateful to explore my world in new ways. And I'm grateful for the worlds that have opened up to me through this new confidence to explore.
