I'm grateful for the reminder that faith and trust can go so far in creating our reality. Yesterday my boyfriend and I took my dogs to the dog park for the first time. I hadn't done this before for a couple reasons; one they have a big yard at home to run and play in and two I was worried how they would respond because on leash they bark and freak out when another dog walks passed. I believe my dogs are sweet and loving. But I was nervous how they would react when they clearly feel so protective of me and each other on leash. My boyfriend reminded me that they are also responding to my nervousness and that socializing them and trying it on a day the park wasn't too crowded would be good. As we walked out there I made the conscious effort to think about how good they were and embody the calm trust that they could handle it. I talked to them in a happy voice and told them how good they were as we approached the first dogs. They were a little unsure what to do as the dogs ran up to them and they just kept looking at each other as I talked happily to them and the other dogs, petting everyone. As I removed their leashes I could see their confusion and nervousness but as they kept looking to me and my boyfriend and we continued to talk happily to the dogs and owners alike, acting as if nothing was unusual, they began to come around. Holding faith in another is a powerful thing. The ability to trust that at the core we are all good and can handle any situation is the foundation. I'm grateful for this lesson in trust. I'm grateful to have faith. I'm grateful to overcome one of my fears and see that my dogs can handle these new situations. I'm grateful for my boyfriend's confidence and trust in them. I'm grateful for his faith in me. I'm grateful to trust him. I'm grateful to have so many people in my life that trust and have faith in me and that I may offer them the same in return. I'm grateful to trust God and the Universe that all will work out. I'm grateful to know that, even with so many new situations arising as I dive into my dreams, I have faith it will work out. There are so many ways to give and receive that gift of faith and trust. Every little time it is given and confirmed it builds the foundation for more. Who is always showing their faith in you? Who do you trust? Can you allow yourself enough faith to try something knew, knowing God and the Universe are ready and willing to support you? I'm grateful for the support I feel. I'm grateful for the trust I have in others and they return to me. I'm grateful to let my worries go and know it will work out. I'm grateful for a strong family. And I'm grateful to start today with a renewed confidence in all that is possible.Have a beautiful day!
