I'm so blessed and so grateful! I'm grateful to be home and to have gotten to celebrate my birthday in a relaxed way yesterday! I'm grateful to come home to loving family, eager dogs, and a sweet boyfriend. I'm grateful to sleep in a little this morning and allow myself to ease back into the routine of work. When coming back from vacation there is always tons to do and I'm grateful to be taking a breath and not letting the pile of laundry and work get the best of me. Today is about reestablishing balance and easing back into the daily grind. I'm grateful to be back to my laptop to post gratitude and to begin to edit the hundreds of photos I took while I was away! But every time I begin to feel that sense of urgency that I will not get everything done, I will stop and breathe. The pendulum doesn't find balance in swinging furthest the other way, just as balance is not achieved by going from complete relaxation to overly stressed. And while there is plenty to get done, I have faith that it will be accomplished and does not require me to be a stress-monkey! So today, I am grateful to work and to tackle as many projects as I comfortably can but I am also grateful to just breathe. How are you feeling today? Do mondays stress you out?
