For me, the Universe is a grand reflection. It is open to infinite possibilities, yet awaiting my direction and desires. I can see that as I manifest and re-manifest things each day. It is teaching me to be very conscious of the words I choose. The Universe is always listening. Every great opportunity that is presented or that disappears is created by the thoughts I choose. This is one reason I believe that focusing on the positive is so important. I recently accepted a job as a part-time nanny to bring in a little extra income. The job began tomorrow. Yesterday as I drove home with the long to do list in my head I couldn't help but wonder how I would fit this new job in. Was it really what I wanted? It was further than I had wanted to drive and would require more time than I had originally been looking for. In truth, I am wanting my own children and using others' to fill that void until the time comes. As I talked it over with a friend I voiced out loud the concern that perhaps in taking this job it was one more stall tactic in delaying my true wish to be a more full-time life coach. I was once again finding things to take my time from the path I truly want. I recognize this pattern, the fear of failure, and the fear of lack of steady income. I said, "if it were up to me, I wouldn't need this job and all the signs would show me how to focus on life coaching." Hahaha! I know the things I wrote in the first few sentences because they are shown to me time and again and yet sometimes I still forget. I used to think that made me unworthy to coach but in reality, my human-ness is my biggest asset. I don't think coach is even the right word for what people in this field do, at least not if we are doing it with heart. It's more a partnership, a mentorship, guidance to show you where your own power lies. And sometimes I too need these reminders. When I asked myself what I wanted, it was to help people shift their lives and find their gratitude and power. This is my passion. That afternoon I texted the family to double check the hours that they would be needing me and learned the need was no longer there. I'm opening my heart to this new development. The signs are showing me how to focus on my passion. I will march forward down this path in confidence. I believe the money will flow in to support this. I'm so grateful for these signs. I'm grateful for the humor I find in remembering what I already knew. I'm grateful for the lesson in being conscious of my words. I'm grateful to start this new day doing what I love. This blog was created to share my journey and my gratitude with you. I'm so grateful for those of you who continue to follow along and for those of you who are just stumbling upon it now. If the things I say fit in your own life, use them. If they do not fit you ideas and understanding then let them fall. We are all beautifully different and all believe different things. It is one of the most beautiful facts of life because our differences make us stronger. The core belief that I hope you do gain from this blog is just how powerful gratitude can be. It has changed my life and it can change yours. So what are you grateful for today? What words have you been speaking to the Universe? What are you creating? May your day be filled with gratitude and love. May you speak the words from your heart that you wish to witness in your world. Have a beautiful day!
I believe the way to a better future starts with gratitude today.
