It is a similar feeling to when I have a really good meditation. I am conscious and yet my whole body has reached a level of deep relaxation.
I love just laying there enjoying the quiet of my mind as I simple observe the physical relaxation. Those moments before my mind wanders over the thoughts of the day are such a beautiful gift.
I'm grateful for this gift. I'm grateful to have slept deep enough last night that I could enjoy this feeling longer this morning. I'm grateful for that deep relaxation that is so rejuvenating. I'm grateful to pause and enjoy the moments of stillness with a quiet mind. And I'm grateful for the reference point so that as I meditate later I can have a goal of the deep relaxation I want to reach.
