My husband and I have had such a week this week and much to my surprise he actually prefers me to not be diplomatic. He prefers to hear it as I see it so he can respond in the like. It is a new avenue for me but it is nice to allow myself to speak freely. It is a great feeling that "I disagree" can be a conversation not a fight. And I wonder how many times I have tempered my views when it was not necessary.
I am so grateful to speak my mind. I'm grateful to know my mind, being open to new facts yet standing for what I believe is important. I'm grateful to have a husband who can challenge that and still listen respectfully. I'm grateful for the lessons he teaches me as we build a relationship like none I have ever experienced before. And I'm grateful to honor the message in my dreams last night about repairing my throat and speaking from truth and love.
What topics do you find yourself muting? How can you honor your truth while still being respectful to the ones you love? Who in your life supports your views and thoughts, whether they agree or not?
May today bless you with the words to express yourself. May you find support in standing for what you believe. Have a beautiful day!
