I'm grateful for having so many ways to communicate. I'm grateful for the communication passed along through gestures such as a simple hug. I'm grateful for words of comfort, praise, and love. I'm grateful for the reminder that sometimes just by communicating our fears and facing them in words they lose all their power and scariness. I'm grateful for the old fears that have cycled back around so that I can see how much I have grown and I'm grateful to have wonderful family and friends to talk with about the ones that still scratch the surface. I'm grateful for an amazing boyfriend who is patient, loving, and is such a great listener when I need to talk something out. I'm grateful for the balance we give each other and the reminder that not everything needs carried alone; some things don't need carried at all. So what fears, stresses, or burdens are you carrying today? Like a tree in the snow, we have to let some things fall away or the weight will break us. What can you let fall away today?
