As silly and simple as it may seem, I'm very grateful for breathing today. There is so much power in each breath. Our breath when quick and shallow can give us a sense of urgency; when "regular" is easily forgotten, and when deep and slow has the ability to transform and calm our mind and body. I'm grateful for this deep, slow breathing. It is a great way to start my day, focusing on my breath and meditating in the darkness as I wait for sunrise. Today will be a great day! The peace in my heart will extend through the day and in remembering this calmness all is well. I'm so grateful for this. I'm grateful for today. I'm grateful for the clean air I breathe.
