I've never been a big fan of gravy so I usually put my egg on the biscuit as a sandwich. Today, I used leftover cheddar biscuits from dinner a couple nights ago and as you might be able to tell from the picture, it was a success.
I'm grateful for simple breakfast upgrades. I'm grateful that the addition of cheese can make such a big difference. I'm grateful for eggs and all the nutrition they hold to start my day right. And I'm grateful to take time in the mornings to have a real and filling breakfast.
I'm grateful for hot breakfast on cold days. I'm grateful to always have food to eat. And I'm grateful for these quiet morning breakfasts as I eat watching the sunrise. Each morning is a beautiful gift and I am so grateful to be witness to another one.
