I'm grateful that I had a chance to celebrate two friends' birthdays yesterday. I'm so grateful to be a part of the celebrations. As I wake today though, I see extra importance of taking life one day at a time. Time is flying by. It seems like just yesterday this gratitude blog was just a thought that I had no idea how to implement. Now I have my own company that not only practices gratitude but sells motivational photography. I have an art exhibit at First Fridays THIS Friday and could not be happier on how things are moving forward. But in the rush of moving things forward I have noticed my stress level rising and that I have not taken as much time for some things that are very important to me. I'm so grateful for my dogs reminding me to just slow down and share love this morning. I'm grateful to step back and spend time with those who are important to me. And I'm grateful to share love and receive more in return. Today I will not stress about the list of to dos. I will take this day one step at a time and know that at the end of the day I got done what needed to be done and what is left can be done some other time. Today I will be grateful in the moment. Have you felt rushed lately? Is life moving fast with trying to keep up? How can you take time to enjoy this moment?
I believe the way to a better future starts with gratitude today.
