I'm grateful for birds today. I'm grateful for the bright red cardinal that sometimes sits outside my window giving contrast to the Winter woodland scene. I'm grateful for the birds singing in the warm sunshine yesterday and the gaggle of geese that flew over me. I'm grateful for the way they soar, giving me inspiration and signs. I'm grateful to know I can fly, in my own way. For quite a while growing up I was very resistant to wind. Now the more I spread my wings and take risks the more I appreciate the wind helping me along. I know I do not need the wind to "fly" but it sure is nice to feel that loving support. Children often run around with their arms out pretending to be airplanes, birds, or fairies. Wasn't it fun to pretend we could fly as children? But the truth is we CAN fly, in our own way. And the wind is still there for us, waiting for us to spread our wings. What dream do you want to fly for? What gratitude and joy can you find in your life to help your heart soar? May your day be blessed with loving wind and the inspiration of birds. May you find the courage to spread your wings in whatever direction you choose. Have a beautiful day!
I believe the way to a better future starts with gratitude today.
