I'm so grateful for both of my wonderful, loving dogs. Today I would like to focus on Austin though, as she is having surgery today. I'm grateful for her happy, playful nature. I'm grateful for the way she greets me at the door when I come home. I'm grateful for the way her whole body shakes when she wags her tail. I'm grateful for her beautiful spirit! Today Austin faces surgery and I can not be there with her. She will have to go through it with only the comfort of the vet and staff. This is so difficult for me because I have never boarded her or left her with anyone but family in the nearly 10 years she has been my dog. I'm grateful to know she will be in good, caring hands. I'm grateful to visualize everything going smoothly and her making a quick and full recovery. I'm grateful for the outpouring of support from friends, family, and community. I'm so grateful to be blessed with such a wonderful dog and to know in my heart that we have many more years to still share together. I'm so grateful for strength and love today. What challenges are you facing? How do you want the situation to turn out? As challenging as it can be, try to release the stress and fear and focus on visualizing the positive outcome you desire. Above all else, know you are not alone no matter what struggle you are facing! Love and light!
I believe the way to a better future starts with gratitude today.
