I'm grateful to take time for myself today and grateful for those around me that understand that need. I'm grateful to take care of myself because I know that when I take time for me, I have more to give to others later. It's so easy, especially at the holidays, to get caught up in all that is going on around us but it is important to be sure we are taking time for ourselves as well. We help fill others' cups by what runneth over from our own, not by dumping our own into others'. The more I love and care for myself, the better I can love and care for those around me. I'm grateful to be reminded of that as I was feeling a bit run down last night. I'm grateful for an amazing boyfriend and family that understands and respects that need. And I'm grateful to start today fresh and rejuvenated. How will you take time to care for yourself today? How will you then share that renewed spirit with others?
I'm grateful for fun movies like Stardust. I believe all of us have the ability to shine like a star and that as we live more and more in joy the more we shine on those around us. I'm grateful for this light. I'm grateful to see it in those around me. I'm grateful when I am at a stoplight and I see a couple in the car next to me smiling at each other or a parent laughing with their child. I am grateful to observe love in strangers as well as in those close to me. I'm grateful to look in the mirror and see love shining back at me. How can you shine extra bright today? Take some time to notice all the love around you and have a beautiful day!
As I prepare to head to church for one of my favorite services of the year I am grateful to know that the possibilities are even more infinite than I can imagine. I'm grateful to know that miracles can happen. I'm grateful to see that there is so much more at play than my mind can digest. I'm grateful for a higher power that guides us to truth and shows us the power of faith. I'm grateful to release the fears of this last year and move into a fresh new year full of possibilities. I am also grateful for flash paper in all it's magical glory! What will you release for the coming year? What will you create in 2014 to make it the best year yet?
I'm grateful for beauty. I have found through my own exploration and through speaking with clients defining a word like beauty can be elusive. Everyone has an idea in their mind of things that are beautiful but to actually define it as a concept seems trickier. Sure there are some societal standards of what physical beauty looks like, although I am happy to see how many people do not fall for such a narrow definition. A lot of times we see beauty through characteristics that come from within people. We see beauty in our world from things that are extra colorful or unusual. Today I am grateful for all these types of beauty but I am also grateful for a beauty that is "plain". A beauty that surrounds each of us every day in the song of a bird, the melting of ice, a leaf dancing in the wind, and the smile on the face of a stranger. I'm grateful to define beauty as the inner sparkle of love that finds it's way to the surface to be shared. I'm grateful to know that beauty I see is reflected from my own inner beauty and that by sharing a smile that smile may be reflected back to me through the beautiful face of another. I'm grateful for this warm weather and to see people out and about. I am grateful. I am blessed. I am loved. How will you see beauty today? How will you share that beauty with others?
This morning I'm grateful to be me. I'm grateful to try my best and know that that is good enough! I'm grateful to dance to the song in my heart even when others hear a different beat. And I'm grateful for all the beauty I see in my world when I take care of myself and allow myself to see the beauty within. How can you honor yourself today? Are you willing to dance despite any fears you may hold about being judged? However you can, give your best today at being you and know that it is enough! Namasté
I'm grateful today to be contemplating my own rebirth as the celebrations of the birth of hope come to an end and we prepare to move into a new year. Each day, month, and year are cycles of rebirth and we can choose how we re-emerge at the beginning of each new cycle. Many of us make new year's resolutions about diet or exercise but what if instead of making a half hearted promise to ourselves we made an honest commitment to ourselves. I am grateful to start this commitment to myself today and not wait until the calendar begins its new year. I'm grateful to change my focus to make sure my needs are met and put more focus on my overall health, not just the focus on one aspect of it. Today I am grateful to take the time to recenter and rebalance, returning to my inner guidance on what I need. Today I strengthen my voice and stand up for the things that are important to me. Today, I give myself love. What commitment can you make to yourself starting today? What gift can you give to yourself to help support yourself and honor yourself? It does not have to be a complete 360 degree life change. One step at a time will add up to get you to the goals you desire. What step
I'm grateful for the holidays! I'm grateful to share this time with family and friends. I'm grateful for all the great food and the laughter that is shared this time of year. Happy holidays everyone! Whether you celebrate the Christmas holiday or not, let's celebrate this winter season with love! Who are you grateful to celebrate with this time of year?
I'm grateful that the only thing we have to do to be awesome is to be ourselves! When we are ourselves people notice that authenticity and are drawn to us naturally. It inspires others to be true to who they are and let their colors shine for the world to see. I'm grateful for the holiday celebrations tonight! I'm also grateful to be working this morning! I'm grateful for a work environment that supports me being myself. I'm grateful to perform massages today dressed as an elf. I'm grateful for mutual respect between myself and my friends and clients of other religions and that we allow each other to be fully ourselves no matter how silly it may look. Today, if you need to work, do it with a smile on your face and with flare! The world is what you make of it so make it a beautiful place! How can you be yourself today and shed any fears of judgement? How can you make your world more of the way you want it to be? Happy Holidays to you all!
I'm grateful this morning for all the love that I share and is shared with me in return. I'm grateful for all the people in this community that share their talents to help others. I'm grateful that all of us have unique talents to share with the community to help make the world function. What is your unique talent? How can you share your talent with the community and the world? The simplest things we share are sometimes the most powerful; a smile, a word of encouragement, a gesture of help to those in need. Today, be the light of hope in someone's day. Be the beauty that they see when they are in need.
As I sit with my family and look out over the beautiful snow covered world outside I am so grateful for the warmth in my heart. I'm grateful for the beauty I see all around me. I'm grateful to know that our world is dependent on how we interpret it and that we really do create our own reality. I'm grateful for family that is always there for me. I'm grateful for the beautiful displays nature gives me each day. And I'm grateful to live in a community and world that is so loving and supportive of each other. I work toward creating my part of this loving community each day in the way I treat people and trying to help those in need. How are you creating your reality? What are you grateful for in this moment? How can you share your love to create a better place?
I believe the way to a better future starts with gratitude today.
