Yesterday was so wonderful sharing laughter and gratitude with my family and loved ones. I'm so grateful for the ability to Skype those who could not make it this year. I'm grateful to have come home and switched the decorations in the house out for white lights and garland. I'm grateful for the scent of Christmas tree as I wake this morning. And I'm grateful for the opportunity to allow myself to fall asleep early last night and sleep in late this morning, giving my body the rest it needed. I'm grateful to see the sun already up and know that breakfast is already waiting as leftovers in the fridge. What a beautiful, relaxing way to start the day! With Thanksgiving still fresh in mind, what are you grateful for today? How can you continue the practice of gratitude each day in your own life? There is so much in my own life that I can find if I take the time to look and I believe the same is true for everyone. Life is my reflection and when I calm my mind and choose to see the good all around me, that is when my life shifts. I'm so grateful for this reflection. I'm grateful for water and it's ability to mirror when it is still. And I'm grateful for the symbolism I see. What is your life reflecting? How can you shift that mirror to what you want to see? May your day be blessed with calm waters and sunshine. May you find gratitude in your everyday, ordinary tasks. Have a beautiful day!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! This is one of my favorite days of the year as people come together with their loved ones to share what they are thankful for and give voice to gratitude. One of the most powerful ways to shift your life in a positive way is by focusing on gratitude and what is going right in your life. There are millions of blessings each day that are often taken for granted and when you take the time to focus on these you can see the beauty. The second biggest step to transforming your life in a positive way is SHARING this gratitude with the people you care about. The more you talk about the wonderful blessings in your life or the circumstances you are grateful for, the more you will notice all the wonderful things happening around you. Think about it, do you really feel better after venting all afternoon to a friend or are you still thinking about that same negative situation? Sure it can be helpful to talk it out but making eighty percent or more of the conversation positive and focused one gratitude and the good that is to come is what will uplift your spirit. Next time you need to vent, go ahead and let it out but for every minute you spend in that frustrated place, spend five minutes talking about what is going right, what you are grateful for, or how you can imagine this working out for the best. This is how you shift your life! It's up to you! As for today, while you are sitting around with loved ones and delicious food, start the gratitude conversation. Hold any naysayers accountable because everyone has blessings in their life. And when it comes to your turn, dig deep. Go beyond the food and love shared in this moment and tell those people you love something that you are deeply grateful for about each one of them AND about yourself. Let's spread love this holiday season. What are you grateful for today? How can you express that to the ones you love? And what are you grateful for about your you-uniquely beautiful self? May your day be blessed with an abundance of love and gratitude. May you share your gratitude with the ones you love and shine that light from your heart! Have a beautiful Crazy Turkey Day and a blessed Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving is tomorrow and I've decided to start the celebration a little early. Yesterday was a great day of laughter and playing both with some new friends and with my wonderful fiancé. Today I plan to continue that cheerful mood of celebration as I work in the morning and then begin preparing for tomorrow's feast. It is easy to get excited on holidays when laughter and celebration flow naturally. Yet every day we have the choice to celebrate. How will you choose to celebrate today? What small shifts can you make to allow you to celebrate every day? For me, gratitude is a huge part of my celebration. I'm so grateful for the delicious smells of the apple pie I baked last night and I'm so grateful to be able to share it with the people I love tomorrow. I'm grateful for my aunt passing along some great tips on making it. I'm grateful for the uplifted and friendly mood of people at the store. I'm grateful to see people celebrating the holiday with their own little adaptations. I'm grateful for the bright orange color of the ceramic pumpkin next to me on the table and I'm grateful to still have the scraggly little fabric turkey that I made when I was in junior high. I'm grateful for this joy I feel celebrating a day of thanks and I'm grateful to begin a day early! What are you grateful for today? Who are you grateful for in your life? May your day be blessed with thanks that fill your heart and flow over onto those around you! Have a beautiful day!
Living a life of gratitude does not mean there will be no cloudy, stormy days. It does not mean that life will always be roses and sunshine. But gratitude will provide you an umbrella to keep you dry and an internal light shining from your heart to brighten your path. Sometimes that light may shine brighter than other times. Sometimes that light may help shine on the loved ones in your path and light theirs too. Other times they may choose to not use or even see this light for themselves and that is ok too. They are on their journey and, perhaps, one day they will find their own light to shine through gratitude. Their journey is not your concern. The best you can do is light your own path and fill your own heart and know that what spills over is a good example for others. I say this because in visiting with a good friend yesterday I was reminded how good it felt to share great news. In sharing great news it is often very mood uplifting and allows more good news to be shared. By the time I left her beautiful home yesterday I was floating on love and gratitude for all the wonderful things going on in my life. What good news can you share with those around you today? How can you bring your own light into the day to brighten your own path? There is so much going on in my life that is wonderful right now! I'm grateful to be open to a new job possibility that would blend well with what I am already doing and allow me a bit more financial flexibility. I'm grateful to be hosting a five series Mother Daughter POWER Workshop in the following weeks and I'm grateful for all the interest I have had in it. I'm grateful to have the opportunity to study with another amazing life coach, MK Mueller. I'm grateful to be moving forward both in my professional and my personal life. I'm grateful to be engaged to the man that I love and I'm grateful to know that even when we do not understand each other we still respect and love each other very much. I'm grateful for the light I feel shining from my heart after yesterday's visit and I'm grateful to continue that light today. Who will you share your good news with today? How will you bring your light and shine it from your heart? May your day be blessed with good friends and great love. May the positive situations in your life multiply as they are shared! Have a beautiful day!
Good morning! How about starting off the week with a little Monday marinade? Marinade is the mixture of spices and deliciousness that is put on food to make it taste better, right? Well with Thanksgiving coming later this week, maybe it's time to marinade ourselves in a little pre-turkey day gratitude. I'm going to give you a little challenge though; let your true gratitude shine from your heart. Yes you are most likely grateful for your family and the food on the table and all of that but today let's work your gratitude muscle a little harder. What are you uniquely grateful for in this moment? Let me give you an example. I'm grateful for the way my dog licks her nose and mouth completely between each bite of food because it makes me think she was once royalty, like a dainty princess. I am grateful for polka-dots on my socks and for the creative outlet of self-expression through my feet. I'm grateful for moments of laughter to the point of tears like I enjoyed yesterday with my family. I'm grateful to hear a train in the distance at this very moment and enjoy the sound while also enjoying that it is soft and subtle being at a distance. I'm grateful to know that I get to go mentor and play games with some awesome girls today and I look forward to the stories they will share about the weekend and their upcoming holiday. I'm grateful to go see a good friend this afternoon and get to share stories with her as well. I'm grateful for the stillness of the house in the morning and equally grateful for turning on the radio to dance to later. What are you grateful for this morning? What gratitude can you find in this celebratory and thankful week? May your day be blessed with the most delicious gratitude marinade and may you find laughter and joy in this day! Have a beautiful day!
What a beautiful day! There is a little less nip to the air and the sun is beaming down. My eyes are open to the beautiful possibilities all around me and my heart is warm with the glow of love. Do you ever have days when you wake up just knowing it is going to be a great day? Even if you don't exactly know what events will transpire, you just know it will all be perfect? That is how I feel today. I have several things on my agenda but there are also several gaps and I'm eager to see what beautiful surprises will happen in those moments of possibility. I woke early this morning but stayed in bed longer than usual just visualizing the beauty today will hold. It was such a loving and supportive way to start the day and I can feel the difference. Today I am so grateful for the way the bare trees make patterns across the blue sky outside the window. I'm grateful for the way the sun beams right onto the front of the house as it rises over the neighborhood. I'm grateful for the clicking sound of Pippin's (my dog) paws on the wood floor as she paces deciding where she will take her nap. I'm grateful to have new neighbors moving in next door. I am excited to meet them. And I'm grateful for all the other people I will meet today along my path. It is such a beautiful world filled with fascinating people! Who will you meet today? How will you choose to see the beauty in each moment today? May your day be blessed with laughter and love. May you recognize the perfection of each moment and cherish today. Have a fantastic day! Have a fantastic weekend! And keep asking yourself, what am I grateful for today?
Each day provides new situations, new information, and new interpretations of our reality. What may have seemed frustrating five years ago may be fun today. Or perhaps something you really enjoyed a couple years ago is no longer appreciated. We shift and change, gaining new insights and understandings that change how we respond to life. The beautiful thing is, no matter what is going on, there is always gratitude to be found. Gratitude is the easiest way to turn any day around or to improve an already great day. Today is a good day already and I choose to make it great with gratitude. I'm so grateful to provide dog beds for my sweet girls to lay on while I am working. I'm grateful to be able to see them throughout the day as I work from various places. I'm grateful to have the flexibility to do this so they can be free of the basement more of the day. I'm grateful for my fiancé's new job being more flexible as well. I'm grateful for all the hard work I put in this week and I'm grateful to know it is making a difference. I'm grateful to accept all the beautiful abundance that is flowing my way. I'm grateful to be moving forward on my workshop series and the coaching work that I do. I'm grateful to have faith in myself and in this beautiful universe. There is so much to be grateful for today, even the little things, like socks. That's right, I'm grateful for fuzzy socks that keep my tootsies warm as I work. What are you grateful for today? How will you choose for your day to go and how can you make it even better with gratitude? May your day be brightened by love. May you find gratitude in your heart for all the blessings around you. Have a beautiful day!
This morning I feel like, more often than not, the term practical is used to restrain our true desires. Somewhere along the path many of us seemed to stop dreaming about what we truly wanted and started dialing those dreams back by what we felt or were told was practical. "Not everyone can live their dream; be practical and make sure the bills are paid." And there are lots of times that practicality is essential to living. Yet if we released all the fears that held us to practicality, most likely there would be so much more possible that was waiting for us. As a child, when you dreamed of what was possible, was not all the practical unconsciously taken care of too? A child may not say I want to be a millionaire and be able to pay all my bills and have a nice house that's paid for and still afford cookies at the grocery store. When a child dreams of the future, the practicality, whether they are aware of it or not, is rolled up in that dream. Practicality is in the details and often in doubt that a dream so large could just be manifested. Yet our mind is such a powerful thing! And when we try to dictate those details and worry about the practicality of our dream we may very well be tapering the ability to manifest it. Yes it is important to pay my bills and provide for myself and those relying on me. But in setting my dreams high, focused in the possibilities, I am working toward something better than surviving. I am working towards thriving! And it is not an either or situation. By taking steps each day to move toward my dreams I can be accomplishing the practical while setting my focus and intentions for the higher possibilities. I'm so grateful to open my mind and intentions to the possible. I'm grateful to dream like a child, unhindered this morning. I'm grateful to believe anything is possible. I'm grateful to have faith that it will all work out as it is meant to and that the greater picture is in line with my dreams. I'm grateful to know I can release any old fears and manifest my desires. I'm grateful to know the practical is taken care of when I open my heart to what's possible. Are you dreaming in practicality or possibility? What fears can you release today, knowing the universe wants to support your dreams? How can you reconnect with your inner child and open your heart to your true unhindered desires? May your day be one of infinite possibilities. May you glimpse the ways the universe is working to support you in manifesting your desires. Have a beautiful day!
It always amazes me how simple changes can give dramatic results. I have noticed lately that my choice of language, in reference to certain things such as money, could use a shift. Yesterday I began being mindful and practicing this shift and I have already noticed a change. I set the simple intention to open myself to abundance in all it's forms, including money, and be accepting of the ways it shows up. And it already has begun showing up. It was here waiting for me all along. By setting a simple intention and being mindful of my words I have opened this door. I welcome abundance. I am worthy of abundance. And so are you! Today I am so grateful to witness this seemingly small shift bring such large results. I'm grateful to be witnessing my words and their effect on my reality. I'm grateful to be preparing for new, great and successful endeavors and I'm grateful for the confidence that these will also be supported. I'm grateful to know I can have all these things and more. I'm grateful to share my gratitude and joy with those of you who have been walking a similar path. I'm grateful for my convictions and equally grateful to let those convictions be fluid with the new things I learn each day. I'm grateful for a world so loving and supportive that gives so freely. What language are you using around the things you want? How can you shift that language to a more positive, affirmational, and accepting pattern? How can you practice accepting the gifts that are offered to you? Today is your day. May you find the subtle shift that brings you into your deepest desires. Have a beautiful day!
Good morning and happy Monday! I'm starting my week in observation. There are a few things this week that are in limbo and instead of stressing one way or the other I am practicing being mindful. Sometimes quieting the monkey chatter in our minds can be a minute by minute battle while other times it's hardly an effort at all. The more we practice, the easier that becomes. Today, I am observing it closely, as well as the signs that show up in my day. God, or the Universal Energy, is always helping to guide us. All we have to do is pause to observe these signs. Today I am grateful for the tiredness I feel that actually helps me in quieting the monkey chatter. I'm grateful to observe how I feel in my body as well as symbolism in my day. I'm grateful to have the opportunity to get out and share my photography today. I'm grateful to go visit a great group of girls today. I'm grateful to volunteer on Mondays to start my week off in a positive way. I'm grateful to listen. I'm grateful for laughter shared with these new friends. And I'm grateful to know that the signs I'm waiting for can come in a variety of forms and from a number of places. What questions are you wanting answered today? How can you observe your world for divine signs? May your day be blessed with a quiet mind and divine guidance. Have a beautiful day!
