I just wanted to share a few of the gratitudes placed in our family gratitude bowl today: "I am thankful for a happy, healthy family." "I'm grateful to share this day with people I love!" "You" "wellness" and Cherrie said, "I am so grateful for all of my family and friends and our many blessings." It was a fantastic Thanksgiving full of joy and great food! I'm grateful for a holiday to gather together! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! What are you grateful for today? Who are you grateful for today? Have you told them lately just how much they mean to you? Today, let's share our love and gratitude with those we love! Have a beautiful day!!!
I'm grateful to see the flow this morning. Everything in life has a flow, a frequency, and a path. They do not always stay the same but as with music can shift and change into a beautiful dance. Today I choose to follow the flow. I do not need a trolling motor on my boat today, I will simply go where life takes me. It is easier said than done sometimes to live in the flow. But by setting the intention and gently reminding myself when I stray I believe this can be easily accomplished. I have two songs that are coming to mind. Just Around The River Bend from Pocahontas and The River by Garth Brooks are both songs I love. I'm grateful for music because flowing and dancing with the music is a great way to practice being in the flow. I'm grateful to dance today. I'm grateful to be. What songs make you want to dance? How does it feel for you when you are in the flow?
I'm grateful for all the reflections in my life! I'm grateful to be in a relationship that reflects back to me the traits I appreciate most and also the traits that I fear about myself. Everyone we come across is a mirror of some aspect of ourselves. This is the case when we like someone and even when someone is so irritating to us. Inside a loving relationship is a whole different level of reflection. The ones we love most, the ones we open to most, are also the ones that can best reflect back to us the fears or un-truths we have guarded most. I'm grateful to recognize these fears and to be able to communicate them when needed. I'm grateful for a patient, loving relationship with a man that never ceases to amaze me. And I'm grateful for all the love I give and receive each day. Who reflects back to you the things you are not wanting to see? How can you embrace that aspect about yourself? How can you open your heart to love yourself completely?
This morning I am grateful for truth. I have been in a funk the last couple days and this morning was very difficult. There are several reasons and explanations I could use to dismiss it but instead of pretending it is not a big deal and ignoring it or beating myself up about it I would like to just observe it. I hurt. I am hurting both physically and emotionally today and that is ok. I know that this is temporary and I am grateful for that. I am grateful to embrace the truth that everyone has days like this. I'm grateful to embrace this within my own imperfect perfection. I'm grateful to know that I am loved and that whichever person I choose to reach out to will embrace me with love and warmth. I'm grateful for this community that accepts me the way I am. I'm grateful. I'm grateful. I am grateful. And as I sit here in the calm darkness waiting for the sun to come up, I am grateful to know light will always return. If you are struggling today, or any day, please remember that there is a prayer request forum at http://www.reyofgratitude.com/gratitude-forums.html#/ that is available for those wanting some assistance and love. I hope you have a beautiful Monday and the only thing I ask is, what are YOU grateful for?
I'm grateful to wake up slowly this morning. I'm grateful to spend nearly an hour just laying in bed under my sunlamp and snuggling my sweet dogs. I'm so grateful to meditate both by myself and again with my mom. I'm grateful for mornings like this where my priorities are in line with what is truly important in my life. Today's pictures are not for sale, they are simply grainy phone pictures of two of the sweetest souls I have ever met. I'm so grateful for their love and snuggles. I'm so grateful to watch the sun rise on a new day knowing I will be spending it with the people (and pups) in my life that I love! What is important to you? Do your actions reflect where your priorities lay? Have you hugged a dog today?
I'm grateful to explore. I'm grateful to always want to learn why and how and what purpose things serve. I'm grateful to travel to new places or revisit places I've been and see and explore new things. But I'm equally grateful to explore the day to day world that sometimes gets taken for granted. I'm grateful to explore not only my outer world but the world of my mind and thoughts. Where do my beliefs come from and what causes my emotions? I'm grateful to meet and speak to other explorers and hear about their processes and adventures. And I'm grateful for the people in my life, that while they may not be the same type of explorers themselves, are willing to follow my train of thought at least until the next station. I recognize that this can be hard to do and I'm grateful for those willing to make the effort. I'm grateful for the people that accept me for who I am and I'm grateful to learn about the way other people are and their own unique ways of exploring. What ways do you explore your world? Do you know why some plant
I'm grateful this morning to have succeeded at something I have been practicing for over a month. I'm grateful to be filled with pride and confidence at my achievement! I'm grateful to recognize my own gifts and strengths and to accept when they are different than the gifts and strengths of others. So often we compare ourselves to the people around us. One person may be more analytical and one may be quicker to reach the goal. One thing I keep reminding myself is that we are all running a different race. Our goals and paths are different though they are equally valid and important. Often we choose to surround ourselves with the like minded and the ones with similar goals in mind. It helps to validate our own choices and progress. But what if we validated ourselves and stood amongst people on widely varying paths? What different lessons and insights would we gain from this different view? What would we learn if instead of judging each others' paths and views we simply listened and accepted it as their own? I'm grateful for this community that comes together in gratitude from paths that are wide and diverse. I'm grateful to hear your different stories, struggles, and successes that I may or may not be able to understand but that I respect as your own. Today I'm grateful to listen to other ways. I'm grateful to celebrate myself and my successes but also you and yours! What does your path look like? What do you believe?
