I woke this morning wanting just a little more sleep and though I am feeling peaceful and quiet I wanted an affirmation today that had power. I'm grateful for the power behind the words "I will". I will work towards my dreams today. I will practice my communication. I will do what is best for me and those I love. I will listen to my heart. I will love. I'm grateful for "I will" sentences that have much more power, to me, than "I can". I'm grateful to know I "can" do a lot of things and I'm grateful to know which things are important enough to me to say "I will" do them. I'm grateful for all the blessings I have that allow me to pursue my dreams. I'm grateful to know I am fully supported. I'm grateful to give up the expectations of how it will look and simply ask that it be enough. I'm grateful to know that I will experience today as I am meant to experience it, with lessons and laughter. What WILL you do today? What WILL you choose to be grateful for in this moment? Today is a choice. How WILL you live it? I'm grateful for it being Monday morning. I'm grateful for a new week dawning. I'm grateful to wake sleepy and yet ready to go "get" the day. Today I will because I can and because I am. May the affirmations of your day be filled with strength and love. May you learn today's lessons gently and may you see the beauty all around you. Namasté

I'm grateful this morning to trust the flow and allow my stubbornness to take a back seat as divine timing takes the wheel. I'm grateful to walk away from my computer as the internet was contrary and just go about my morning taking care of myself and my dogs. I'm grateful when I returned that the internet and computer have made friends again and are ready for a post. I'm grateful for the beauty of waking slowly and still having plenty of time to make it to church. I'm grateful to follow the flow, trusting it is for a reason and letting my own agenda come secondary. What is timing telling you today? How can you trust the flow? I'm grateful to be headed back to church today after a few weeks of missing. I'm grateful to re-sync with the beauty of my community. May your day be filled with the loving songs of the heart and may the flow guide you to exactly where you need to be. Have a beautiful day!
I'm so grateful to wake to silliness this morning. I'm grateful for my boyfriend's australian accent and his impersonation of Steve Irwin that makes me laugh. I'm grateful for his ability to be himself and him modeling his strong, healthy self-esteem. I'm grateful for my own silliness and uniqueness as I join in the play. I'm grateful to know that in finding self-love and self-esteem I am free to be myself in all ways. I'm grateful that being myself fills me with such joy as I let any perceived imperfections fall away and just celebrate who I am today. How do you show yourself to the world? When you are standing confident in your self-esteem and self-love, how do you act and speak? How do you reinforce your own perfection and honor yourself? I'm so grateful to be silly and playful. I'm so grateful for the wonderful people in my life that are also playful. I'm grateful for funny voices and breaking into song. I'm grateful for speaking my truth and helping others find their truth and self-love. I'm grateful for another interview yesterday and the opportunity to share my message with more people. If you are searching for a more joyful life, start with gratitude, with self-love, and with laughter. And if any of these seem insignificant or too daunting, contact me and we will explore why gratitude, self-esteem, and play are the keys to joy. I'm grateful for the wonderful day ahead. May your day be blessed with silliness and self-esteem and filled with joy.
I'm grateful for the New Moon last night and to wake to a fresh new day today. I'm grateful to have caught up on some sleep. I'm grateful to wake cheerful and playful for the opportunities that await me. I'm grateful to be having another interview today for a podcast by Journey of Possibilities. I'm so grateful to Sheryl for this opportunity and for the guidance she has given me. I'm grateful to be surrounded by wonderful family and friends as I continue transforming my own life. What intentions did you set for yourself this month? What new dreams do you want to manifest? What priorities and goals do you want to move toward? Start today. Take at least one step today toward your dreams. I'm grateful to be taking steps toward my dreams. I'm grateful for all the wonderful blessings and opportunities in my life that are coming to fruition. I'm grateful to know each day is a new opportunity to reach for my dreams and that each "failure" is really just a step towards success. May your day be blessed with laughter and you heart pursue its dreams! Have a beautiful day!
I'm so grateful to return refreshed and ready to work again! I'm grateful for a few days away, unplugged and out in nature. I'm grateful for the perfect weather we had as we camped out. I'm grateful to have gotten back to the basics of cooking over a fire and rising and setting with the sun. I'm grateful for all the beautiful stars that shine so much brighter out there away from the lights of the city. And I'm grateful to be back here today to a job I love. In what ways do you take time for yourself? How do you take a break from your daily demands so that you can refresh? When you return, do you find yourself appreciating it or dreading what you are coming back to? Life is what we make of it. If we choose to focus on the negatives we will dread each day, with nothing seemingly good enough. Sure there are moments when our job is not our favorite or our life gives us a challenge or two to work out but if we are living in gratitude and focusing on the positive blessings in our lives then those times will be much easier to sail through. While we all need vacations and time to reboot, we also have to find ways to balance and find joy in where we are in our daily life. It is no way to go through life dreading and disliking 71% of our week. So how can you find love and happiness within each day? I'm grateful to wake knowing that a warm shower and food is available to me. I'm grateful to return to electricity, as much as I loved being away from it. I'm grateful to see a wonderful young woman today and help her find her own gratitude and power. I'm grateful to know that I am loved as much as I give love. May your day be filled with bright moments that help you find your gratitude in day to day life.
I'm grateful for the amazing opportunity I had yesterday to speak at WEA's Just For Her Luau. I'm grateful for all the people who came out to participate. I'm grateful for the storm that rolled through last night lulling me to sleep. I'm grateful to wake this morning to a new day and to take time for myself away from the hustle and bustle of work and the city. I'm grateful to take a few days to unplug and go out with my boyfriend and sweet dogs to do one of my favorite things in the world - Camping! I'm grateful for the way camping recharges my batteries and renews my spirit. Every day we have a choice on how we will live it. Most days I choose to live it sharing myself with others and trying to help others live their dreams. It is my passion and I'm grateful to have such a great job. I'm also grateful to take time for myself, to truly unplug. While I will be waking grateful, I will not be posting my gratitude for a couple days as I enjoy the peace of nature. So I leave you with a task for the next couple days. When you wake, answer the question "What are three things you are grateful for today?" Start building a gratitude "blog" in your mind or in your journal. There is so much beauty to be grateful for if we choose to see it. I'm so grateful for all of you who follow along. I'm grateful to see you finding your own gratitude each day. I'm grateful to know when I plug back in I will have even more gratitude to share with you. Have a beautiful few days! May you find imme
I'm grateful to be speaking at the Just for Her Luau (sponsored by WEA) today in Olathe. I'm grateful to have this opportunity to speak to a room full of amazing women. I'm grateful to speak on the importance of finding beauty within. As I've traveled my journey there have been times of darkness and light, times of pain and times of happiness. After going on a long, soul-searching trip on my own, living out of my car and traveling around the southwest I found something amazing. We are so much stronger, braver, and more beautiful than most of us ever realize. And when we find that within ourselves; when we truly respect and love ourselves, the World opens a whole new set of possibilities and dreams for us to discover. Everything we see is a reflection of ourselves. We determine what we see by the lens we choose to look through. While I am most known for my gratitude message, finding beauty within and empowering people to live the life they dream and deserve is a strong passion of mine as well. I'm so grateful to be able to reach out and help those seeking a better life. I'm so grateful for the loving, supportive people in my life. I'm so grateful for opportunities like these to reach out and spread a positive and vital message. Do you know how beautiful you are? Do you struggle to find the beauty within? Can you give love and compliments to the face in the mirror each morning? If you are interested in joining us today at the Just For Her Luau, admission is free, and you can learn more at http://www.eventsnearhere.com/find-events/KS/OLATHE/Shows-and-Expos/Business-Expo/addetail/22660/WEA-PresentsJust-For-Her-LUAU#.U6a_5hawjX8 . May your day be blessed with loving light and may you find only love and beauty looking back at you from the mirror. Have a beautiful day!
I'm grateful to wake on this beautiful summer solstice. Though the sky is clouded I know the sun has started it's rise. I'm grateful for this long day and all the possibilities it holds. Yesterday I experienced disappointment as some of my expectations did not manifest but today I'm grateful to be back in the flow. I'm grateful to have still had a great day yesterday and to end it with an outdoor concert with a friend. I'm grateful for whatever plans fall into place today and to spend some time outdoors. I'm grateful for all the blessings I have in my life and all to come. A couple years ago I was fortunate enough to see summer solstice at Monument Valley. As the sun rose, then disappeared behind the large rock formation only to reappear to light the small candle-tip formation to the side, it ignited my own awe and passion for this beautiful world we live in. I, of course, took over a hundred pictures that morning. I'm grateful for the beauty of the world and to be able to see it. I'm grateful to have the ability to share it with you through my photography and expressions. What ignites your passion? How will you share it with the world today? How will you use today, this summer solstice, to give back and leave a legacy? May your day be blessed with warmth in your heart and light in your life. Happy Summer Sols
I'm grateful to wake with the sun this morning. I'm grateful to have a short day of work ahead followed by a fun day with one of my best friends. I'm grateful to take the time today to go play at the zoo. I'm grateful to have an afternoon of youthful fun. So often as adults it seems we get caught up in the "need-to-dos" and the never ending list of responsibilities. Hopefully as parents there is time taken to re-enjoy these youthful experiences with your own young but as an adult without children it is still important to take time for these activities. It is important to let our own inner child play. I'm grateful to play today. I'm grateful to remember that allowing this time for my inner child actually strengthens my role as an adult. I'm grateful to have a wonderful friend to share days like this. And I'm so grateful for the many years she has been in my life. Do you have a childhood friend in your life? When was the last time you let your own inner child play? How can you celebrate your own youthful fun today? May your day be blessed with laughter and play. May your world be renewed in your eyes by choosing to play. Have a beautiful and fun day!
I'm grateful to wake rested. I'm grateful to start the day by helping my boyfriend load up for his fun weekend getaway. I'm grateful that he is taking some time off to go on a trip and relax with the guys. I think it is important for all of us to take time for ourselves and reboot. One way I can tell when I am needing some time to breathe and reconnect is when I notice my emotions seem to feel overwhelming instead of just guideposts. When I have trouble seeing what my emotions are trying to tell me instead of just allowing myself to be overtaken by them then I know it's time for some down time. Most often for me a simple meditation or quiet moment in nature is enough. When that is not enough I also find it is important to not get caught up in the emotions of self-judgement or allowing those emotions to become my whole reality. Emotions are meant to guide us BACK to truth and God and happiness. They are our compass and when the emotions stray from joy and contentment then we know a change is needed. I'm grateful to know that I need to take time for myself this week as well. I'm grateful to feel my emotions and let them guide me (not rule me) back to balance. I'm grateful to be so loved and supported. How are your emotions today? What direction is your compass pointing and what adjustments can you make? May your day be blessed with nurturing love. May you feel the joy th
