I'm so grateful to wake to an exciting day and an exciting opportunity. I'm grateful to get to share my story and my passion with current and future women of WEA (Women Entrepreneurs of America) tonight. I'm grateful to be living my dream and spreading the message of gratitude and I'm grateful to be joining such a wonderful group of supportive women. I'm so grateful for the journey my life has taken me on and that I continue to walk today. The story line and definitions have changed many times as I changed course but it has always been just what was needed to get me to this place I stand today. I'm so grateful to all the people that have walked this journey with me; both those who were temporary and those who have been there the whole way. Each person along my path has taught me valuable things and shared a piece of themselves with me. I'm grateful to share my journey as they shared theirs and I'm grateful to give back to others in sharing my story. Who has shared your journey? What lessons did they share with you and how will you share your journey and lessons with others? As May winds down and June begins, let's open a new chapter in our lives for gratitude and love. May your day be blessed and shared with those who love you.

I'm so grateful this morning to wake to the beauty of sunrise. I'm grateful to do my yoga with the sun warm on my face and enjoy a peaceful meditation with my dog by my side. I'm grateful for all the opportunities that have been presenting themselves lately and I'm so grateful to be stepping up and saying YES to those opportunities. As I listened to my radio interview air yesterday on Amazing Women of Power: Making Money Making A Difference it all felt so surreal. I'm so grateful for such a wonderful opportunity and for all the calls and messages I got afterwards of all the people that had heard and loved it. I'm filled with such gratitude to live in such a loving and supportive community. I'm grateful to share my passions on here and in new ways. I'm grateful for my speaking engagement tomorrow to a wonderful group of women entrepreneurs. I'm so, so grateful for all these opportunities to share my story, my view, and my passion with more people. One of my favorite motivational photographs that I made is still the snow owl that journeyed down to visit in the Kansas City area. I put my personal power reminder on it: I am beauty, I am soul, I am perfection, I am whole. Over a year has passed since I made this particular combination but I still have it up in my office reminding me I'm living my dream each day and reminding me of my own imperfect perfection. The environment we surround ourselves with goes a long way towards how we see life. Surrounding ourselves in positive, inspirational, and uplifting situations and environments go a long way to helping us LIVE in a positive way. This includes not just the people we are around and the pictures we hang on the walls but also the music we listen to throughout the day. So what environment are you creating for yourself? What small ways can you shift it to be more positive? You deserve to live a joyful life. How will you start the shift? Thank you so much, again, for all your loving support as I live my passion! If there is anything I can do for you to help you uplift your life, please let me know. May your day be blessed with the beauty and joy that you deserve. Namasté.
Last night I got some disappointing news and reached out to friends that I know would understand and help remind me that everything happens for a reason. I'm so grateful to know that even when things don't go as I wanted, there is a reason behind it that is bigger and better than what I could plan. I'm grateful to have friends that also believe this and can reaffirm it for me when I am down. I'm grateful to have the resources within myself to uplift through positive thoughts, gratitude, and through motivational photography. I'm grateful to be surrounded by positive an supportive influences. I'm grateful to be imperfectly perfect and to have learned it is ok, even for a gratitude coach, to reach out for a personal uplift from friends when it is needed. I'm so grateful for those friends I can rely on. I'm grateful that every person in my life plays a unique role and supports me in their unique way. I'm grateful to wake to the beauty of the sun shining on a new day and know that all the intentions I set under last night's New Moon are working their way to fruition. I'm grateful to let go of the news from last night and start the day fresh with laughter and smiles and dog snuggles. What do you do when you get disappointed? How do you re-route to gratitude when you are down? Who do you reach out to when you need a boost? I'm so grateful for this community! I'm so grateful for your support and encouragement as I share my gratitudes with you each day. I would love to hear from you! I'm so grateful to wake to the sunrise. I'm grateful to take time to just breathe and be this morning. I'm grateful for the New Moon and the energy it gives. Today is a great day for giving thanks for what we have and graciously asking for what we desire! There are certain times of the month when energy is high and manifesting is especially quick; now is one of those times. So what do you want in your life? Set your intentions and acknowledge your desires today! Release any worry or concern on HOW these things will be achieved; simply acknowledge what you want and put your energy and intention behind moving in that direction. I'm so grateful to wake energized. I'm grateful to have my intentions clear in my mind and be open to receiving them however they choose to show up. I'm grateful to be a dreamer and to know infinite possibilities are always here for me. I'm grateful to celebrate this day with several wonderful clients and friends. I'm grateful to share my joy with those around me. And I'm grateful to be filled with abundant love that I can share with all of you. What will your intentions be today? How will you celebrate this new day and new moon? May your day be blessed with energy, focus, passion, and a commitment to your dreams. Go for it! You des
I'm grateful to wake this morning back home and ready to start the week. I'm grateful for the holiday weekend and the time with family. I want to take a moment today to post the picture I was unable to post yesterday because Memorial Day is such an important day to honor not just our loved ones that passed but our troops that have fallen. I am aware that I have followers that are not American and I am aware that there are parts of this World that may not think very highly of our military. While I do not agree with all of the things are military is asked to do, I honor and support the men and women who risk their lives to protect the innocent. I honor those who serve each day to try to make a positive difference in the World. I'm grateful for peace. I'm grateful for the cultural differences that give so much character to both the U.S.A. and the World. I'm grateful for those who love and honor each other. And I'm grateful for those that are willing to stand up for what they believe is right and to protect those who can not protect themselves. I have seen the price of war within my family. I have known the fear and hurt. I honor those families that support their heroes time and again through the challenges they face both away and at home. We all walk different paths. We may not understand each other's paths but it is not for us to understand, it is only for us to love and support each other. To all the soldiers out there, I'm grateful for each one of you that makes it home to your families. May you always feel the love and support of those around you and know, no matter what, you are not alone. Who do you know that has served? How do you show your support, no matter what your beliefs, to those who have served? I'm grateful to have been married to a man brave enough to serve and I'm most grateful for his safe return home. While we have gone our separate ways, I will always be grateful to have had that experience and to see first hand what it takes each day from those and their loved ones. As we go back to our day to day lives, let us continue to remember those who fell and the importance of finding peace.
I'm grateful to wake this morning from a complex night. Today is Memorial Day here and I would first like to honor those loved ones that passed, those who served, and all those who came before. I'm grateful for the imprints each left on this World to shape it as it is today. I'm grateful for all those who left an imprint on my life and my perspective. Saturday morning I went on a photo shoot to capture a field of flags. My intention was to edit them and use one today. But this weekend seems to be a lesson on releasing expectation and the past and as part of that I do not have the resources today to share those with you. I'm grateful to let that go and know that there is a reason for everything. Yesterday was full of little surprises, the largest of which were two baby opposums in the basement of my boyfriend's mother's home. I'm grateful for the symbolism it held for me, as I have had my own things stirring in the "basement" of my mind. Memorial Day seems to have brought with it a series of old memories that, like the opposums, needed to be gently released to where they belong. I'm grateful for this release and I'm grateful to recognize its process. I'm grateful to have had a prophetic story to use as a resource and I'm grateful to have a loving boyfriend and an "army" of angels to guide me through this particular release. I'm grateful for my Grandmother's spirit that is never far away. Who do you call on in times of struggle? This Memorial Day, who are you remembering and honoring? Perhaps it is time to also honor the small parts of ourselves that have "died" and been reborn as well. May today be gentle with you and fill you with love and reassurance. I'm grateful this morning for the truly pure of heart. I saw it last night in the face of two young children. I'm so grateful for the tomato-mouth kisses and the sweet way the little girl rested her head on my shoulder to snuggle as she got tired. It warms and melts my heart all at once. It is a purity and joy that I am so grateful to experience and I often see it in children. I'm also grateful to see it in my dogs. I'm grateful for the way they still run to the door to greet me when I return from work or an errand. I'm grateful that they snuggle me in the morning so we can soak up each others' affection. While they may occasionally do things I don't appreciate, at the core they are my angels. I'm so grateful to have such beautiful expressions of true, innocent, unguarded love in my life. I'm so blessed and so grateful to receive it and return it with my whole heart. When do you see that purity of love in your life? When do you feel the presence of angels? If you are blessed with the opportunity today, take a moment to play with a child, see their smile, and soak up their beautiful laughter. Nothing, to me, is more healing. May your day be blessed with love, purity of heart, and the smiles of angels.
I'm so grateful this morning to wake inspired. I set my alarm early to get up before sunrise and go out on a photo shoot. I had seen a field of flags as I drove down the highway the other day and was excited to get some inspired pictures of the flags waving in the sunrise. As I got out there and set up I was in awe of the beauty of all those flags flying. I'm so grateful for all the sacrifices those who serve and their families make for our country. While I may not always agree with the fight, I always support the men and women that risk their lives for others. I'm so grateful for all the police, firefighters, paramedics and all those who serve here at home as well. I'm grateful for a beautiful weekend to remember not only all those who gave their lives to service but to all the loved ones we have that have passed on. I'm grateful for the beauty I found out there in the field of flapping flags. While I got few pictures of the brightening sky before the storm clouds rolled in just before sunrise, I'm grateful for the pictures I got. I'm grateful for the darkened sky pictures as well because in that deep grey sky the flags had an even more regal and vibrant appearance. I'm grateful that my memory cards guided me to end my photo shoot so that I made it back to the car with all my equipment just as the rain opened up. Divine intervention at it's finest. I'm so grateful for this inspired and deeply touching morning. And I'm grateful to have still made it back in time to cook breakfast for my loving boyfriend before he had to venture into work. I could not have asked for a more perfect start to this day and I'm grateful to share it with you. What inspires your passion? How can you share your passion with the World? May your day be blessed with the beauty of sunrise, the cleansing of rain, and the fullness of love.
I'm grateful to wake to a restful darkness and meditate as the sun peeked into the sky. I'm grateful to allow my body to wake whenever it is ready and greet the day. I'm grateful to wake rested after a night of interesting, movie style dreams. I'm grateful for plot twists and the ability to observe these dreams. I am grateful that while my inner stress-monkey has been showing up lately I have learned several tools to calm myself and rebalance. I'm grateful that each day is a new beginning to do something great and I'm grateful to wake excited to start today's great adventure. When was the last time you woke and paused to take time to watch the sun rising? What cues do you have for it being the beginning of a wonderful day? What are you grateful for about yourself today? I'm grateful to see how many changes I have made in my life and know that while I was always my own imperfect perfection, I have grown to embrace that imperfect perfection and unique beauty today. May your day be blessed with enough... enough love, enough abundance, enough joy, and enough service. Have a beautiful day!
"I'll have what she's having," comes to my mind this morning. A humorous quote from When Harry Met Sally but it represents all those times when we look at what others have and say, "I want that." While I love the quote, "comparison is the thief of joy" (Theodore Roosevelt) I think if used the right way to model after rather than victimizing ourselves it can be a useful tool. It can guide us in reaching for the things we want in life rather than believing it is impossible. Today is my brother and his beautiful wife's anniversary! I am so happy for them and grateful that they found love together. They are an amazing match. While I am so happy for THEM, it is a happy reminder for myself as well. When they got married it reaffirmed for me that there are second chances at love and marriage and that one door closing can open another door to an even stronger love. It gave me hope! I'm so grateful for this hope and affirmation. I'm grateful for the love they share. And I'm so grateful for my amazing boyfriend that shows me an amazing, supportive, FULL love each day. I'm so grateful for all those who modeled love and marriage before us, my parents and grandparents and all who came before, to teach us what is important. So today I lift my "glass" of gratitude to all who have LOVED their spouse (or significant other) with all their hearts until then end. I lift my "glass" of gratitude to my brother and sister-in-law for their special day! Who inspired your belief that love can last a lifetime? Who will you toast to in celebration of love? Today, I'll have a big glass of love with an extra splash of gratitude!
