I'm grateful to have had a great first night back at volleyball. I'm grateful for my team and the fun we have on the sand. I'm grateful for our individual strengths and the the strength we have when we come together as a team. This strength and community gratitude extends beyond volleyball. I'm grateful to know my strengths in the community and I'm grateful to see other people's strengths and how we can compliment each other. I'm grateful for a community that joins together and assists each other through challenges and celebrates their accomplishments together. I'm grateful that at each level of community is a team and the more we learn to work together the stronger and more cohesive our team will become. This World is our team. We do not need opposition, we only need teamwork and caring. I'm grateful for such a large team. I'm grateful for all of those who recognize this and try to support and work together for the good of everyone without seeing boundary lines of religion, countries, or beliefs. What teams are you on? How can you welcome in larger teams into your life and help work for the good of all? Together we can be a strong and successful team.

As silly and simple as it may seem, I'm very grateful for breathing today. There is so much power in each breath. Our breath when quick and shallow can give us a sense of urgency; when "regular" is easily forgotten, and when deep and slow has the ability to transform and calm our mind and body. I'm grateful for this deep, slow breathing. It is a great way to start my day, focusing on my breath and meditating in the darkness as I wait for sunrise. Today will be a great day! The peace in my heart will extend through the day and in remembering this calmness all is well. I'm so grateful for this. I'm grateful for today. I'm grateful for the clean air I breathe. I'm grateful for calmness. How is your breathing today? Is it slower and calmer on the weekends or are your weekends just as busy as your every day? Today, try to take just 5 minutes to slow and deepen your breathing. It can make all the difference. Have a beautiful day!
I'm grateful to wake in a happy, silly mood this morning. I'm grateful to have a playful dogs that I can sing to and dance around with me. I'm grateful to be headed to work that is now painted in fresh bright colors that brighten even the cloudy days. I'm grateful to share my joy and silliness with others. I woke with the Pharrell Williams song "Happy" in my head so "clap along if you feel like that's what you want to do." What makes you happy and puts you in a silly mood? How do you share that silliness with others? Does it make you nervous or embarrassed to show that side when you are out in public? Whatever makes you happy today, try to fit it into your day. You deserve happiness! Have a wonderful day and don't be afraid to clap along!
I'm grateful to wake slowly this morning to peaceful music. I'm grateful that even though I woke from dreaming well before what I wanted to I could still enjoy the peaceful calm of the morning listening to calming music. I'm grateful for Karl Anthony's "In My Awakening" that soothes me and reminds me to let go of whatever is weighing on my mind. I'm grateful for phrases like "om shanti" or the english equivalent, "peace be with you". It is such a simple yet powerful blessing. I'm grateful for all the loving people in my life. I'm grateful for all the musicians and poets that find the words to speak directly to our hearts. I'm grateful for this peaceful feeling this morning. What gives you the feeling of peace and stillness? How can you reclaim that feeling throughout the day?
I'm grateful to wake to laughter this morning. I'm grateful for words that can be misspelled, misinterpreted, and autocorrected in the funniest ways. Often we are so focused on the day to day that we forget all the humor that is around us all the time. I'm so grateful to be reminded this morning. I'm so grateful to laugh. I'm so grateful to share that laugh and brighten others' day too. What funny things did you experience or witness this morning? Was it something someone else did or something silly you did yourself? Either way, try to find humor this morning and give yourself the gift of laughter. It really can change the outlook of your whole day. As for me, I'm going to try and keep this laughter bubbling all day. Happy W

May today provide for you a balance of work and fun to renew your

I'm grateful to have the motivation to exercise this morning. I'm grateful to share laughter with those around me as it is a key part of my health and maintaining joy. What are you grateful for today? How do you listen to your body to maintain health? How do you keep a healthy level of joy in your heart? I'm so grateful for all the people around me that remind me, through example, how important it is to take care of ourselves. I'm so grateful for the health and wellbeing of my loved ones and friends. I'm grateful for quick recoveries and lasting health. Happy Monday, everyone, take care of yourselves today!
I'm grateful to wake this morning with all my needs met. I'm grateful to remember that some of the most simple things I need are always provided. Touch is such an important need that is sometimes overlooked or taken for granted. Virginia Satir (a well known psychotherapist that pioneered the practice of family therapy) said " It takes 4 hugs a day to survive, 8 hugs a day to maintain, and 12 hugs a day to grow and thrive." I'm so grateful to have an affectionate family. I'm grateful to be a very "huggy" person. I'm grateful for all my friends that share their hugs in our friendship. And I'm grateful for a boyfriend that is full of hugs as well. Loving touch by the people in my life fills my heart with peace. I'm so grateful. How many hugs have you given today? The beauty in hugging is that it is nearly impossible to give a hug without receiving one back. So hug a loved one, hug a friend, comfort someone who is struggling with a warm embrace and see if you can't grow and thrive today
I'm grateful to be providing loving care for myself today. I'm grateful to ask for help when I can not provide the care I need for myself. We often provide for others, especially those we love at any cost. Parents, in particular, know this well. The truth is that if we do not care for ourselves at the same time, there will be a time when we are no longer able to give. We give to others, not from our own cup, but from our cup being full and spilling over into theirs. We must fill our cup first. This can be hard to remember as the life, children, and other life needs pull us in all directions. Our hearts are big and our focus is on those in need. We need that same loving care. Today I am grateful to take some time to get the care I need. I am grateful for those who help provide that for me so that I may refill my cup and pass that love on to others in the overflow. I am grateful to know that my beauty shines from within and to shine my light brightly I need to nurture it. How do you nurture yourself? Do you recognize the signs when your cup is running low? Who can you ask for help in providing that loving care? Today, give yourself the love you need. You are so worth it!
