I'm grateful for getting to spend the day ahead with two sweet girls. I'm grateful for the fun we will have and the things we will teach each other. I'm grateful to have this day of play! And in this moment I'm grateful for my sunlamp to give me an extra boost for the day!
I'm grateful for so much beauty all around me! I'm grateful for the vibrant pink sunset set against the white of snow! I'm grateful for the reflection of color of the traffic lights in the water on the streets! I'm grateful for the beauty of a passing train at dusk! It's such a beautiful world all around me!
I'm grateful for some quiet time last night to curl up with my book! I'm grateful for the new and exciting ideas it inspired! I'm grateful to have read myself to sleep knowing that I have a flexible schedule today and am not snowed in. I'm also so grateful for a deep sleep last night! I didn't realize how tired I really was until I saw the clock when I woke this morning. I'm grateful for this new day!
I'm grateful for another fun snow day! I'm grateful that we had power today. I'm grateful for the beautiful snowy scenery! I'm grateful for the beveled window that gives an inspired view! And I'm grateful to have a view of my own living snow globe!
I'm grateful for dreams that exaggerate what is going on or how I am feeling. Dreams are such a good compass as to what is out of balance. I'm grateful that my compass is constantly there working to show me signs to lead me down my path!
I'm grateful for another evening in as we brace for another snowstorm. I'm grateful to have made the delicious dinner I had been craving! I'm grateful for another evening with my boyfriend! And I'm grateful for the deep, restful sleep I am about to get!
I woke with this thought today:
Sometimes getting caught up in all that is reflected on the surface, the lake forgets that it is a lake. The lake forgets the depth and stillness within.
In what ways do you get caught in the reflections of your life? How do you rediscover your stillness?
I'm grateful to hear from you and grateful for all who take the time to reflect on this!
I'm grateful for conversations with friends that reflect back to me what I have been putting out. I'm grateful for irritations that remind me to look inside at what needs cleared and what needs changed. I'm grateful for the message at church yesterday about letting the things go that no longer fit who you have become.
I'm grateful for a day of fun sledding and having snowball fights! My life was needing a little play. And it looks like mother nature agrees because round two of snow is headed this way!
I'm grateful to be headed to church this morning after missing the last three weeks! I'm grateful for the awesome music and uplifting message I'm about to hear! I'm grateful for the sunshine!
I believe the way to a better future starts with gratitude today.
