I'm grateful to wake this morning and see the grass. I know snow is coming and I enjoy the beauty as it falls and gently covers everything in its blanket but I'm grateful that it has not yet arrived. I'm grateful to know that despite any struggles that may have occurred yesterday, today will be a great day! I have heard several people recently speaking about the idea of enough and being enough. Sometimes this concept is hard to consistently believe. I'm grateful to believe that each one of us is inherently enough. We are also born deserving of love and respect. And I truly believe that the universe supports us in this knowledge. That being said, the day to day trials we sometimes face can have us frustrated and questioning that we are enough. Being enough is not the same as being everything... to everyone... in every incidence we come across. It simply means that we are a creation of our own perfection, with the flaws that make us uniquely us to carry us through the life we came here to live. Sometimes we confuse rejection, whether it be of a job or of someone we care for, as a measurement of our worth or of their integrity. It is neither. Rejection is the emotion we attach to the realization that different people have different needs and not everyone can meet those needs. It does not mean that you are not enough or that you lacked something that you should possess. You are enough. You are your own perfection. How can you honor that today? How can you release the hurt of the past and accept the beautiful truth that you are enough?

I'm grateful to wake this morning to beauty all around me. I'm grateful for a beautiful dog lying next to me, a beautiful sunrise, a beautiful song of grace waking me, and a beautiful face in the mirror. I'm grateful for all the simple things that greet me each morning that I take for granted sometimes but that are truly beautiful. So often it seems we confuse beauty with cultural ideas on shape, size, and style or even on commercial products and enhancements. It seems that the term grace is reserved for those talented in dance or ice skating or similar such talents. I don't buy those definitions. I'm grateful to se that each one of us was born with divine beauty and grace and it exists at our core always. We may act in ways that do not reflect it sometimes but even when we are not showing it, it is inherently a part of us. We are perfect in our creation. We are beautiful. We are the grace reflected in the world. So Good Morning!! I invite you to wake to this new and beautiful day by celebrating your own unique beauty and grace! How can you honor your unique perfection today? How can you say no to any cultural ideals that make you feel less than enough? I am here to remind you that You Are Enough! Today let's celebrate that grace and beauty! Today, let's celebrate each one of us! I'm so grateful for this community that continues to grow and inspire each other! Namasté.
I'm grateful to wake up to a beautiful hump day! I'm grateful to wake in a dancing mood and to do some laughter yoga this morning to get my giggles going. I frequently hear people say they are unhappy and just want to find happiness. In my experience happiness is not a thing to be found, it is an action we do. Perhaps that is why Brené Brown distinguishes between joy and happiness. To me, happiness is something we create by living a life based in love and gratitude. As we create that we tap into the joy within us. Joy is at the core of our spirit and does not diminish. That joy is what sustains us when times get a little rough and "happiness" is a little harder to create. Joy is the heart of laughter, it is where that smile that you just can't resist comes from, and it is ready and waiting for you to put it to action. If you are struggling today, try some laughter therapy or laughter yoga. Get those giggles and belly laughs bubbling up from your soul because at your core you were designed to be joyous! You were given the gift of life to celebrate and be happy. How can you express your joy today? How can you build happiness? If you are struggling, you don't have to struggle alone. You don't have to wait until life gives you something happy to create happiness; and if you're waiting for it then you may not find it. We CREATE happiness! I can help you create the life you want to see. I can help you create that happiness and tap into your joy. Do not wait until you're "in a better place". If you are down NOW is the time to pick yourself up! NOW is the time to start loving life! I am a Gratitude Coach and I can help you find the light at the end of the tunnel. Please do not settle any longer for anything other than a wonderful life. How will you start creating happiness today?
I'm so grateful for a day of activation yesterday. I'm grateful to wake with that same movement of energy today! I'm grateful for a good workout and for changes that lift my energy! I'm grateful to be seeing the actions needed in each aspect of my life! I'm grateful to be actively participating in this great adventure of life! It is easy, especially in winter time to just snuggle in and hibernate from the cold but I have found the more I hunker down to hibernate the more blah I feel from lack of motion. And I truly believe that this stagnant energy transfers to all aspects of life. By getting the ball rolling and physically getting my body moving again it will help me to re-activate my business and my passions for life. How can you actively seek the things you want in life? How can you not just live your life but create it?
I'm grateful for balance today. I was reminded, once again, how important it is to balance self care with the activities of life. It is so fun going here and there to meet friend and do fun things but it is just as important to remember to take my "me time". Getting back to yoga and Qigong and meditating and even using my sunlamp are great ways for me to balance what happens during the rest of the day. I can cope much better with things out of my control when I have a calm base to start with in the morning. I'm so grateful to know this about myself and to have people around me that support this balance. I'm grateful to know that my laughter and my tears are both part of my perfection and my beauty. I'm grateful to acknowledge my strengths as well as my weaknesses and accept both in love. Thank you to all of you who have ben so loving during my process. Thank you to all of you who follow along and practice gratitude each day! I'm so grateful for YOU! You give me inspiration! What strengths are you proud of about yourself? What weaknesses can you accept in love? Today, embrace the whole you because you are an amazing individual!
I'm so grateful to sleep in this morning and wake with my spiritual community. I'm grateful for the great music and energy of celebration at church today. I'm grateful to be surrounded by family and friends! I'm grateful for the beautiful weather that allows me to unbundle a little and enjoy the warmth of the sunshine. What a beautiful day to celebrate! What will you celebrate today? What warms your heart with gratitude?
I'm grateful to wake with a smile. I'm grateful to feel back to my silly self. I'm grateful to want to dance and celebrate this morning. It's going to be a good day! I'm grateful to get to see wonderful clients today and to get to spend time with my family. I'm grateful for the warmer weather that is coming this weekend. What are you grateful for today? What makes you smile in the morning? However your morning started, smile, it's going to be a good day!
I'm grateful to have friends and family to seek comfort with today. I'm grateful to find peace in knowing that endings are new beginnings. I'm grateful to know that Lil Dog is no longer in pain and is playing in a better place. I'm grateful that even though my emotions are raw, I can feel a peace in knowing everything is ok. I'm so blessed and so grateful for all the years she was in my life. I'm so blessed and grateful for the wonderful friends and family that loved her and are here in support. I'm grateful that as the sun rises on this new day that everything will be ok. I'm grateful for the light outside that creeps through my window chasing out the darkness. I'm grateful to have a full day today and to jump back in to the jobs I love with my amazing clients. I'm grateful for each of you reading this and the sentiments and condolences you have sent to me. I'm so grateful to live in such a beautiful, supportive, and loving place! What are you grateful for today? What can you allow the sunlight to shine on in your life?
I'm grateful for the ebb an flow of life. I'm grateful for the times of excitement and action and equally grateful for the times of rest. The ocean is a great example of this ebb and flow... rising and falling... lapping at the shore then retreating back into itself. Today I retreat. I'm grateful to have the flexibility to take a day off and spend it with my childhood dog, Daisy. I'm grateful to spoil her in any way I can and return the amazing love she has given me all these years. Yesterday I was imagining what it would be like to fill a child's ball pit with french fries for her to roll around in even though she could not eat them anymore. I'm grateful for a love that is so deep that I would do anything for her to make her days better. But I'm also grateful to know that sometimes that love is all that is needed. I'm grateful for the love and strength of my amazing family and friends today as they support me so that I may support her. I'm grateful to recognize that the sadness is a product of the many years of joy and that the joy overshadows it still. I'm grateful for the time I share with Daisy. I'm grateful to look back on all the funny moments we shared together. Last night I was remembering driving her back home to see my parents after they had been out of town. She had her face out the window enjoying the air and I asked her if she was ready to see Mom. She got so excited she leapt out of the car window and started down the road toward home without me! I had to jump out and go get her. I remember our game, when she was younger, of Secret Agent Man. I would start singing the song and go hide and she would come to find me. As she would walk around the corner I'd hold up my finger and say "bang" and she would drop to the ground wagging her tail. I'm so grateful for these fun memories! I think what I am most grateful for is the way she crawled into our hearts one boundary at a time. Daisy was supposed to be an outside dog. Within a week she was allowed inside but only in the living room on a blanket... and then only on a leash... and then only in the room we were in... and then only when we were there... until she had wiggled into the deepest parts of even my Dad's heart and none of us could seem to tell her no. I'm grateful that she broke all those barriers down. A heart was not meant to have so many walls. I'm grateful to love her and be loved by her so fully. I'm grateful to have known such unconditional love. I'm grateful for all she has taught me and all she continues to teach me. What are your fondest memories of a pet or loved one? What lessons have you learned about yourself because of them?
Today I'm grateful to block out the extra noise and get back to the things that matter. I'm grateful to have one more day with my childhood dog. I'm grateful for all the wonderful years we have had together and the love and fun we have shared. I'm grateful to have loving, supportive family and friends. Even though I am sad that the end is near for little dog, I'm grateful to know that the end is a new beginning where there will be less pain and struggle for her. I've noticed in these last days my willingness to do and give her anything I can think of to bring her comfort. It is the least I can do for a dog that has loved and comforted me unconditionally for so many years. Everyone asks what you would do if you knew it was your last day on Earth... But what would you do for your dog when you knew it was their last days? How would you return their love? Today is a sad day for me but also a day of immense gratitude. I hope you can find the beauty in your day today and share your gratitude with those around you. |
