Whether I solicited the advice or not doesn't matter so much to me as long as it is respected if I choose to follow through with it or not. Not all advice is going to fit with my vision of parenting or spirituality or where I want to take my company. Yet I am grateful to hear other advice because sometimes it gives me a new perspective I had not considered before.
I'm grateful for the advice I received yesterday that seems to help my daughter sleep, at least for now. I'm grateful for advice from other moms that helps me be aware of options. I'm grateful for the advice I don't take that allows me the information to choose. I'm grateful for all advice and advisers that are offered with respect. I'm grateful to offer advice when asked and share some things that have worked for me. And I'm grateful to hold no attachment to whether the person I offer it to chooses to use it. I'm grateful for entrepreneurs that have come before me and have tips on marketing and other business aspects that are not my strongest areas. I'm grateful to know that in this world I am not navigating alone.
How do you choose to view advice? Who tends to give you the most useful advice? Do you ever seek out that person's advice when trying to figure out an issue?
May today remind us that we are not in this journey alone. May we be open to suggestions and may those suggestions be delivered with love and respect. Have a beautiful day!
